## What is NIL.?

NIL is a private messaging app based on hybrid post-quantum end-to-end encryption. Each key exchange combines X25519 and ML-KEM-768 (NIST FIPS 203)—to read a message, you must break both.

No phone number, no email, no contact uploads. Your identity is a pair of keys on your device. The server remains blind: it sees only ciphertext that it cannot read.

No analytics, no ads, no surveillance. Contact by consent: no one can message you until you accept their request. Blocking and reporting—with a single tap. Recovery—a 24-word recovery phrase.
