## What is Nimbus Direct?

Nimbus Direct puts your virtual servers in your pocket.

Connect to your self-hosted Nimbus Direct server and securely manage the virtual machines and containers assigned to your account from your iPhone or iPad.

Manage your instances:
• View assigned virtual machines and containers
• Start, stop, reboot, suspend and resume instances
• Monitor CPU, memory, storage and performance history
• View network interfaces and IP addresses
• Create, restore and delete snapshots
• Upload and manage ISO images and boot options

Console access anywhere:
Access terminal and graphical consoles directly from the app, with controls designed for iPhone and iPad.

Stay informed:
• Follow running and completed tasks
• Receive notifications and maintenance updates
• Enable optional push notifications
• View infrastructure alerts
• Create and manage support tickets


Built for security:
Nimbus Direct communicates only with the Nimbus Direct server you choose. Your credentials and infrastructure access remain tied to that server.
Protect an authenticated session with Face ID, Touch ID or Optic ID, while sensitive credentials are securely handled using the iOS Keychain.


Made for self-hosting:
Nimbus Direct does not depend on a centralized account or infrastructure service. Connect to an installation operated by you or your service provider.
A compatible Nimbus Direct server and an existing user account are required. Accounts are created and managed by the operator of the connected server; account registration is therefore not available within the app.
