They take good care of my shirts, and have a price even cheaper than the local cleaners. I sent 2 jackets for dry cleaning, on the day scheduled for delivery, there’s no contact (no message, no phone call) to inform me that my order was delivered, only on that evening I got a system auto message that my order was delivered, but I only received one jacket back when I open the bag! The app shows the order is complete and I can only submit ticket for the missing jacket(it’s a jacket worth $1770). I submitted the ticket and the ticket has not getting any update even until now(5 days past). I also called the number from their website and no one answered. In the end I contacted the driver through the number they used when pick up and only knowing that because my jacket has some fur on the hood that is not detachable and to clean that they would need a fur expert and takes 1 week and $75 so they need permission to proceed - this is ridiculous because no one contact me to share this information and ask for permission! And they already charged me the cost for 2 jackets even knowing they didn’t clean one of them. The customer service does not exist and I have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. ### 1/5 — Clothes color changed *2023-07-12, version 3.1.4* My white collar is now completely gray. I’ve used this service twice now. The first time, they didn’t do a great job (blazers came pack with skewed shoulder pads, pants pleats weren’t intact as they didn’t hang the pants correctly). I decided to give them another try and regret that decision. They returned only 4/5 garments to me so I now am missing my favorite blazer and will likely never get it back. They also ruined 2/4 of the pieces that were returned, with a large stain on a pair of pants and purple stripes all over one of my white shirts. I now have to take these two pieces to a local dry cleaner and pay them infinitely more money to have them fix the damage Nim Nim did. The convenience is not worth it. ### 1/5 — Poor support *2020-01-09, version 2.2.0* This platform needs a lot of work. There is no way to track your order to see it’s progress or contact the actual cleaner that does the job (despite claiming to be able to do that on the app). You are completely dependent on the driver contacting you for pick up or drop off, which often leads to miscommunications and issues. This lead my to not having my suit ready in time for an important interview. When I tried calling the number for customer support, it went directly to a mailbox that was full. I wanted to try this service and give it a chance but there are a lot of bumps to work out and the customer support is nonexistent. ### 1/5 — Useless service *2018-06-07, version 2.0.5* So on Saturday I went and dropped of a shirt and a dress for stitching and a cardigan for dry wash. I told them I’ll pay by cash (I even have the text proof). The stupid guy charged my card (seems someone used it on my behalf before). I’m not complaining. The annoying fact is that they give me the clothes sent back JUST how I dropped it off with them. They take a week to give it back. And I was charged for delivery since I was the one who went, picked it up and collected it back. Wow. This is by far the MESSED up service. No communication. When you ask them the status they are rude and just try to play the fool. Nim Nim - Nimish , TREAT customers properly if YOU want to go far with this venture ### 1/5 — Horrible service and very unethical. *2018-03-16* Horrible service and very unethical.I sent my winter jacket for dry cleaning since it has duck down in it. Nimnim charged me with the dry cleaning charge, but guess what?!?! They lied, and they water washed my jacket! My winter jacket is an expensive investment for me for this cold New England weather. But Nimnim just completely ruined my jacket. All the duck down furs are all messed up, and the jacket smells so horrible! My jacket was completely ruined!!! I emailed them and asked them, and they said they would investigate. It has been a whole month since they picked up, and they never send follow-ups. And when I email them again, they were asking me to drop my jack off for investigation! I sent my ruined jacket like a month ago, and they don't even remember they picked it up. I strongly recommend people stop using this unethical company which they lie to their clients, and so not organized! ### 1/5 — Ruined my clothes, ignored my complaint, then lied to me *2017-12-17* First (and only) time I tried using NimNim a silk shirt with fringe was completely ruined. Clearly not properly dry-cleaned as the fringe came undone (which should not happen, and had not happened in the past, with dry cleaning). I made a complaint about my ruined shirt as soon as I got it back, including emailing them with pictures. They said they would get back to me and I heard nothing back. I called again, supposedly spoke with one of the founders, Nimish, who was very apologetic, said he would Venmo me money for the shirt (as it was a very nice shirt that unfortunately is no longer sold and thus can’t be replaced), would refund me for the dry cleaning, and also give me $50 NimNim credit. I was indeed refunded for the dry cleaning, but have not credit or any compensation for my destroyed shirt. Terrible quality, terrible service, liars. Stay away if you care about your clothes. ### 1/5 — Sketchy startup *2017-10-21, version 2.0.1* I put in an order, fully filled out the request. The charge came back a little questionable (30lbs on a small bag of laundry that clearly wasn’t 30lbs), but I let it be because everything was washed and cleaned. Then a couple months later I get weird text messages from Nimnim saying they had a glitch and weren’t able to charge me for the order. They asked me to text my credit card details, asked me to Venmo them money? Most normal business who have mix ups or mistakes offer some sort of apology or credit or something. No, they just weirdly demand your credit info... seems a lot like a scam.
