### 3/5 — Losing longtime user due to no updates

*2022-06-06, version v1.4.49*

I’ve used Nine as a dedicated work space for several years, but can’t continue paying to subscribe for no updates.

### 3/5 — Keep up

*2021-09-16, version v1.4.49*

When will you update and add some new features !!!!

### 2/5 — Good for email

*2021-08-03, version v1.4.49*

I came back to iOS from another platform. On that platform this app was great.
They have tried to give me here on iOS, the features that I like and would use the most. The email component works ok with my work Exchange account, but invites and meetings are missing. With more than half my calendar appointments not showing, I suggest the use of another scheduling tool.

### 2/5 — Good Design but no updates. Slow

*2021-04-23, version v1.4.49*

Love the design but features are missing. Strange and disappointing that gmail accounts can’t be added. Moving to folders takes a while to display the folder list and other functions similarly seem to take time to “process” even on a 12 pro Max. Can’t select multiple items and forward together in a single email. Unable to perform certain helpful actions on search results in email (for example, you can’t search for all emails from a sender and then bulk select and move those emails to a different folder). Looking forward to an update.

### 2/5 — Riddled with bugs

*2020-11-18, version v1.4.49*

While I love the app, it’s infuriating to have it crash repeatedly while composing emails and lose the draft. Until this is fixed I’ll have to go back outlook

### 2/5 — The email app that couldn't

*2020-06-22, version v1.4.47*

I have been trying very hard to like this app, but it is just too unstable. I have to reinstall it regularly, emails don't often show up and rarely sync....same with the calendar and contacts....it's great looking and when it works, its super.... unfortunately, it is rarely dependable. Customer support is quick to respond, but generally with apologies or some rediculous excuse that blames the errors on Microsoft or on Apple. Well, guys, MS and Apple are here to stay....so....my advice is to accept responsibility for the fact that the app fails and then fix it.

### 2/5 — Looks nice, but has bugs & lacks features

*2020-03-03, version v1.4.47*

Update 2: There are messages in the inbox that the built-in Mail app & Outlook don't show. They are in the Deleted Items folder but this app still shows them in the Inbox after 2 weeks and killing the app & restarting it. I'm uninstalling it before the free trial is even over.

Update 1: Changing from 3 stars to 2, twice this app got stuck in upside down mode, it wouldn't switch to landscape or regular portrait mode, even though other apps were rotating. I had to kill it & launch it again (or use my phone upside down).

This app looks great & is easy to use, but the main feature I'm looking for doesn't exist, I want an email app that opens links in my preferred browser, not Safari. Also this app makes things more difficult than the built-in default Mail app, for example the Mail app takes 1 tap to open an attachment, this app requires 3 taps. It only downloads part of the email and when you reach the bottom there's a link to download the remainder of the body (which is fine & makes sense), but it doesn't keep your place & scrolls back to the top, so annoying.

### 4/5 — Intuitive with some quirks.

*2019-10-18, version v1.4.41*

I thoroughly enjoy using this app, incredibly intuitive, beautiful design, and easy to use! I only wish that the app wouldn’t crash between uses or would update via push without having to open the application. That being said, keep the updates coming and I’ll definitely be using this for the long haul!

### 2/5 — App still has issues

*2019-10-03, version v1.4.40*

Version 1.4.40 update no longer pulls in new email but the rich text editor now works so that’s an improvement. Although without new emails being received there is nothing to reply to.

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2019-09-27, version v1.4.29*

I really like the app but recently there’s an error that makes it impossible to use. When trying to write or respond to an email, the app crashes. Are there any updates coming to resolve these issues?

### 1/5 — Used to Love this App

*2019-09-24, version v1.4.29*

This app was amazing. Recently the calendars stopped syncing, no big deal I used another app. Then now after multiple reinstall the app force quits when writing an email or replying to them.

Please fix ASAP

### 2/5 — Sad

*2019-09-24, version v1.4.29*

It's pretty sad that an email app can get released that crashes when selecting to compose (new or reply) an email. It's not the only bug. It's been buggy on iOS for the 3 years that I've put up with it. I think I'm finally switching to something else, which is sad because it's got nice features and design. It's just continuously egregiously buggy.

### 4/5 — Email is crashing when replying or new emails

*2019-09-23, version v1.4.29*

After the latest version installed the email is crashing when starting a new email or replying to emails.
System is unusable at this time.

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2023-02-06, version v1.4.49*

Still claiming to offer this product, and then they redirect you to a product that has a yearly fee. For practice on their part. Look elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Moved Back to Outlook

*2022-10-07, version v1.4.49*

It was a nice app, and it worked most of the time. Unfortunately in the last 8 months it has been buggy as all get out. Emails would come in but I only got alerts when I opened the app. I would get meeting appointment reminders for meetings that had been cancelled days or even weeks ago.

Each time my iPhone updates or when I upgrade my device it foobars the license. Support can get a license key to you, but they have a bit of attitude about it.

I would recommend moving to Outlook or Canary as a client, it will be a better experience at this point.

### 1/5 — Subscription expired and isn’t allowing me to renew

*2022-04-13, version v1.4.49*

I love this app and makes using my work email a ton nicer, however, for some reason it didn’t auto renew and when I click on the purchase subscription button- it just brings me to the app download page and has no option for purchase there just to “open”. Please fix and help!!!

### 1/5 — Keep crashing

*2021-03-08, version v1.4.49*

Till today the app keep crashing even after the last update. I just paid for nothing.

### 1/5 — Can’t use the app

*2020-12-08, version v1.4.49*

Every time I launch the app and get to the screen to enter my email address the app locks up. Can’t type. Can’t select anything. It’s only with this app.
I have no idea if the app is good or bad.

### 1/5 — Well featured but laggy

*2019-11-30, version v1.4.44*

Well featured, but latest versions have been so slow and laggy in the interface that app is unusable. Often hangs and crashes. Going to have to abandon the app; uninstalling.

### 1/5 — Keeps Crashing

*2019-11-07, version v1.4.43*

Just got fully paid version and now app keeps crashing every time I try to open an email. Very unreliable.

### 1/5 — Not useable anymore

*2019-10-01, version v1.4.29*

Crashes anytime you try to write a new email or reply to one making it completely useless. also trying to delete or mark emails as read is near impossible. Takes so long for it to recognize that you are swiping to get to the delete button. Not sure what happened to this app but it’s not useable on iOS 13.

### 1/5 — App closes when replying or composing emails.

*2019-09-27, version v1.4.29*

I used to love this app as my email and calendar client. I even paid for the lifetime use. Since the latest update the app closes when you attempt to compose or reply to an email. Can’t report the issue because that requires composing an email. Please fix it!!!!!

### 1/5 — Was barely usable before but now-

*2019-09-26, version v1.4.29*

I used nine for about a year. It was good enough at first to warrant getting the subscription. I was happy to use it for about 3 months. I’m not sure what happened but it has become so unusable as an email app that I have since canceled the subscription and deleted the app. It can’t compose an email without crashing. Every time! The most basic of task! I don’t think I’m asking for a a lot.

Well good luck to the nine team.

### 5/5 — My go to Mail App

*2020-11-11, version v1.4.49*

I continue to love this app.

I do have a technical question i’m looking for assistance with from the developers.

When using on IPad and selecting an email to be viewed in landscape it originally opens correctly. However when I press on the arrow to expand the email to the full screen I wind up in a completely different email no matter how many time I go back to the inbox and reselect it.

How can I fix this?

### 5/5 — GREAT APP

*2020-05-23, version v1.4.47*

This app is coming along nicely and developers are very responsive to questions. No crashing and works as described. Better than Outlook App.

### 5/5 — Nine rocks

*2019-12-23, version v1.4.45*

Best email app in the history of apps. Easy to set up, handles all my folders and lets me see all my emails in one view, my previous email only would show my inbox, I would need to check all my sub folders to see if they revived a mail - this was a royal pain in the rectum. It’s also quick, mails arrive at the same time as my office outlook:)

### 5/5 — Thank for not spamming

*2019-10-26, version v1.4.41*

I was in search for a work app with additional functionality that Outlook mobile couldn’t do, but the other apps I tried kept spamming the shared email account. It was kind of embarrassing to say the least. But you don’t self promote with newsletters and junk so appreciated.

### 5/5 — Replaces Symantec Work Mail (Touchdown)

*2019-10-06, version v1.4.40*

This app is great for those who need to use their phone for work and manage productivity in a meaningful way. Functions much like Outlook with email, contacts, and calendar. It does not currently sync with tasks or notes. Allows the user to sync multiple folders which is critical for those of us who use rules to file emails automatically. You can see your inbox and sub folders all in one place with the All Emails view. Tech support has been very responsive to making fixes. I have put in two requests and both have been addressed/responded to within 24 - 48 hours.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-09-09, version 1.3.8*

Latest update fixed the push issue I was seeing. Thanks!

### 5/5 — The best email app is now on iOS!

*2017-11-26, version 1.0.5*

I first bought Nine Mail on another platform back in 2015 and have been looking for an alternative mail app for iOS. Nothing compares to Nine Mail and glad it’s here now.

### 5/5 — Good alternative. Potential for great

*2017-11-23, version 1.0.5*

Great Exchange app for pure business user. The UI is clean, nice and intuitive. Keep it up!

### 4/5 — Its working but

*2019-12-07, version v1.4.45*

So overall this app is doing what I need it to do. However the folders sync is slower then the regular inbox. Also it sticks at times and doesn’t update at all. Especially when going between WiFi and mobile data

### 4/5 — Improving

*2019-11-07, version v1.4.43*

I have had some issues occurring where the email body is not displaying properly. The company has been working actively to resolve the issue. It has improved but still an issue. I appreciate companies who support their products and actively communicate with customers who report issues.
