Not only does it help with the learning of notes and rhythm it has proven a wonderful motivator for getting students to concentrate in lessons. I often have students at the beginning of their lesson say “can we do some NinGenius today?” and of course I reply “if you concentrate we will have time”. You choose your instrument at set up and then decide whether to play easy medium and so on. It looks like you can play with friends. However I think once you get to genius that's it...So I have only given it two stars compared to other apps on the market it is very expensive at 9.99 and appears to only teach the fingering. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. There are actually three different versions of the app to suit different situations. It sounds like the Games for Kids version would have suited you better, it's only $2.99 and aimed at individuals or families. You can request a refund for the app you bought through the App Store.
