## What is Ninja Mask?

You want to post a photo of your car, but not its licence plate.
Ninja Mask takes care of that in one tap.

Choose a photo and the app finds the licence plate and covers it. No hunting around with your finger, no smearing mosaic over the picture.

WHAT IT DOES

Finds plates automatically
Pick a photo and the app looks for licence plates and covers each one with a solid panel.

Handles several vehicles at once
If more than one car or motorcycle appears in the same photo, each plate is covered.

Follows the shape of angled plates
Seen from an angle, a plate is not a rectangle. The mask is shaped to match, so it does not look pasted on.

Blends with the colour underneath
Sunset, night, deep shade — a plate looks different in each. The mask takes the colour of the actual plate beneath it, so the mood of the photo is kept. White, yellow and green plates are all supported.

Adjust it yourself
Tap a mask and handles appear at its corners. Drag a corner to reshape, the centre to move. Hold a corner and a magnifier appears for precise work. Pinch to zoom the photo. You can also add a mask by hand.

Works with plates from other countries
Not only Japanese plates — plates written in Latin characters are found too.

Save or share straight away
Save the edited photo to your library, or send it directly from the share sheet.

Detection, masking and saving all happen on your iPhone. Your photos are never sent to a server. No account is required.

GOOD FOR

- Posting photos of your car or motorcycle

- Showing someone your parking space or garage

PLEASE NOTE

- Automatic detection depends on the photo. A plate that is very small, at an extreme angle, dark or blurred may be missed. When that happens, please position a mask by hand.
- Saving creates a new image with the mask baked in. Your original photo is not changed.
- This app displays advertisements.

- Frames now follow the shape of the plate, so edges are no longer left showing
- Fixed masks that covered part of the car body along with the plate
- After auto-masking, the frames are shown so you can check their position
