This app is bare bones and offers hardly any options besides "live trading" and "simulation". navigating it was awful. their charts are equally as bad as the user interface. Commissions and margin requirements are low and execution times are good. The problem is that they are unwilling to fix certain issues. For over two years you’ve had the option to connect a debit card to your account. I, unfortunately, have not been able to. After hours spent on the phone with customer service, I always get the same answer. Just use a different deposit method. If I wanted to use those options I would. The better idea would be to fix the problem. Not sure why it takes over two years to fix this, but it hasn’t been fixed yet. Issues with the software and they said they will get back to you and never do. Wouldn’t recommend using them ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-08-16, version 1.4.3* I joined under a promotion where if you deposit $100 you receive and extra $100 from them and they said I don’t qualify after I put the money in. They didn’t give me a single reason why I wouldn’t qualify but that’s probably because I do qualify and it’s just false advertisement I read the fine print and nothing disqualified me from this promotion. ### 1/5 — Frustrating, buggy mobile app – not recommended for iPad/iPhone *2026-08-15, version 1.4.3* NinjaTrader mobile app (iPad and iPhone) is poorly designed and frustrating. Constant switching between windows and pages. Two-factor authentication is broken: keyboard keeps flipping from numbers to text after every digit, forcing you to switch six times for a six-digit code. Charts don’t resize or fit properly—nearly unusable. Buttons overlap and feel cramped. As an Australian user, funding is a nightmare. Debit cards fail, Apple Pay unsupported, overseas bank accounts trigger hidden fees, and every transfer requires extra disclosure forms. Account opening took almost two weeks of endless back-and-forth document uploads (passport, license, bank statements, utilities, etc.) despite providing complete files. Desktop users seem happy, but the mobile experience is full of bugs and is far from intuitive. No better futures trading option from Australia that I’ve found, yet this still isn’t worth the hassle. ### 1/5 — Worst decision of my life! *2026-07-31, version 1.4.3* If there were an option to leave 0 stars, I absolutely would. Unfortunately, the App Store requires at least 1 star, and even that feels too generous. My experience with NinjaTrader has been incredibly frustrating. Customer support is almost nonexistent when you actually need help. I asked a simple question about my withdrawal and instead of getting a direct answer, I received generic responses that had nothing to do with my issue. It felt like I was talking to a bot that wasn’t even reading my messages. When a company is handling people’s money, clear communication and reliable support should be the bare minimum. Instead, I was left wondering where my money was with no real explanation or urgency. I expected a professional trading platform, but the lack of meaningful customer service completely ruined my experience. Only reason I knew is because they sent me a random email telling me I now have zero in my account and that they were gonna remove my access ### 1/5 — Can’t withdraw funds *2026-07-16, version 1.4.3* I was trying to make an account to fund my account but even thought the payment went through the account never funded. When I tried to get a refund the app locked me out I can’t sign back in. I will revoke my review when I get my money back. ### 1/5 — Demo mode, Fund transfer *2026-07-16, version 1.4.3* Demo mode started out fine and then I kept getting an error telling me I wasn’t signed up for necessary data feed. Before that happened, I couldn’t get Plaid to work(?) and then I initiated a debit card transfer. Still no funds two days later. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good *2026-08-26, version 1.4.5* Good ### 5/5 — Great App, But a Few Features Still Need Improvement *2026-08-23, version 1.4.5* I use it every day because I trade while I’m at work, and overall I’m happy with it. The only downside is that it’s missing some features that are available on the desktop app. For example, the trailing stop could be improved, since it works very differently compared to the desktop version. Also, if you use prop firms and have multiple accounts, the mobile app doesn’t allow you to copy trades between accounts. That option is available on Tradovate’s web app and NinjaTrader’s web platform. I don’t think it would be too difficult to implement. Hopefully, they improve these small inconveniences in the future. It just feels cheap and sketchy that even their emails get filtered to junk for me. I also keep connecting my bank account with plaid, but it doesn’t show up on NinjaTrader. I wanted to add more funds but with how much the app sucks at navigating, I’m not sure I want to anymore. I still would like to withdraw my money from this stupid platform.
