I am on level #2 with a plan to increase the heat every thirty days. So far so good: I found it easy to incorporate the device into my morning routine. I especially enjoy the “hot stone” massage-like feel on my skin as I pass along my target areas. I appreciate the APP and the pairing of the device with my phone. I’ve attempted multiple times - and it flashes and goes through all of the correct steps - but it never shows up as a paired device on the app. No idea if it’s paired or not. Ended up deleting the app. ### 2/5 — Frustrating, inconsistent logging in the app *2026-01-12, version 1.14* I’ve only started using the NIRA Pro + and find that the app has a difficult time logging my actual usage. After a session, I’ll fiddle around with trying to sync the app and whatnot, then give up and turn the device off. Later on, I’ll open the app and — surprise! — it has logged that day. The next day, no log, no matter how much I try to sync it, etc. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t track *2025-12-31, version 1.14* I paired my device and it worked for the first 6 days… On my 10th day and it won’t pair. Despite being open with Bluetooth engaged, it often does not record all of the pulses. And even when having successfully treated both in the morning and the evening, it does not credit the day. I have had this problem with the app since the beginning. The only issue I had with the app was that it lost connection with my device and would not let me re-connect, even with assistance from tech support; this could’ve been the fault of the device. I ended up getting a new device and it is working great again. ### 3/5 — Needs tweaking *2025-09-06, version 1.12* I love the general idea and will continue to use this hoping to see improvements, however, I the “skin age” the AI generates is not correct. I am an athletic bio-hacker and people do not believe my age when I tell them it. They always think I am significantly younger. I took my 1st photo in the app where it lets me compare the progress as I use the devices & the AI exaggerated any flaw in the 1st photo, and gave me quite an elderly skin face score. I took a photo directly after it & the AI brightened it, made it so pretty, any lines were barely noticeable. It then showed me the dramatic difference of using the Nira!!! Lololol!!! (I hadn’t even done a treatment yet.) I do think Nira works and is a good product, but the app needs improvements and a truthful assessment. Not one that is obviously engineered. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2025-08-30, version 1.12* Does not register (consistently) sessions completed. I’ve been regularly using the NiraPro+ and the app has only registered a handful of these sessions... that’s annoying. It would be great to see some other features introduced … e.g. AM/PM categories for people that do 2 sessions per day Lastly- I have both an Android and an iPhone… I don’t like that the app isn’t available for Android. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App crashes each time you take photo *2026-07-12, version 1.15* The developers need to roll out a fix asap. Every time I submit a photo in the Analyze section the app crashes. This was an expensive device to brick with an update. I paired my device but it doesn’t track my sessions. The first time this happened I deleted the app (as advised in troubleshooting) and reinstalled it. Tada! All my sessions appeared. Unfortunately that only worked once. Since then I have repeatedly deleted and reinstalled and repaired my device but no sessions appear. I called customer service and the agent said she would turn my problem over to IT. However, no one has gotten back to me. First off, they give you package inserts! How many times do you receive a package with no receipt, no instructions, nothing! To my shear delight, NIRA sent me several informational pamphlets explaining what the laser does, pics, how to use it, how to pair it to my phone for tracking purposes, etc. It was WONDERFUL and so helpful. After one week of use, I can honestly say my skin feels softer and the wrinkles are fading. I am Brazilian, and in Brazil, beauty care is essential. The device is very user friendly and fits easily into my nightly routine. I’ve mainly focused on fine lines around my eyes and my cheeks, My skin feels noticeably softer already, and I haven’t had any sensitivity or redness.
