A little confused as to how Minister of Interior Tunji-Ojo felt comfortable putting his reputation and name behind this app. Someone won said contract and you would think think that at a minimum it would have its barebone features upon deployment. It doesn’t work for iPhone 16+. The biometrics pretty much work on a lam. The app crashes constantly. And it is pretty much a crapshoot IF you can even get the application successfully completed. I have tried MULTIPLE times since last year, last year oooo, since last year to create a profile on the app without success. After filling in my details, i is click the green button and it NEVER takes me to the next page. After some time, the green button goes from dark green to pale green, even with all my details files in. Also, phone number does not take any country code other than +234, and the gender and date tabs always have issues with reflecting what you selected. Why I mean is this, if you are male and you select male as your gender, it will not take. It will remain blank for a very long time. Same with the date of birth- it doesn’t readily reflect one’s selection of month, day, and year. After several calls to the embassy, and emails to both the embassy and the email on the app, and no response received, Alas!!! If you think APC is the worst thing out of Nigeria, then you’ve not met this app. It’s basically a fraudulent one, verification fails once and no opportunity to retry or even refunds. No accessible support team. I’m not a betting man but it’d be a better investment betting on Wolves to beat PSG than paying $100 for their contactless service. My tip for anyone using the app: make sure you have good lighting and a phone with a clear camera resolution , it really helps the process go smoothly. Also, if you encounter any glitches, try re-downloading the app; that worked well for me. Thanks for this app ### 4/5 — Works *2026-04-28, version 1.0.5* Biometric capture is the hardest part of this app. It didn’t work on my Samsung Tab S7+ or iPhone 16 Pro Max (kept giving errors), but I eventually succeeded with an iPhone 14 Pro. Seems not fully optimized for newer iPhones yet. Works better on Android devices with good cameras and iPhone 15 and below. However, it saved me the cost and stress of traveling to Ottawa since I’m based in Winnipeg, Canada. ### 3/5 — Biometrics issue *2025-09-21, version 1.0.3* Trying to get my face verification but keeps saying match failed.
