## What is NIS Tracker?

NIS Tracker is the app for the Nordhavn Ice Swimmers; it travels with members through every dip, photo, and friendship.

LOG YOUR SWIMS
Open the app right out of the water and log a swim in a few taps — distance, water temperature, duration, conditions, and a photo or two. Every entry lands on the club feed for members to react to.

SEE THE WHOLE CLUB
Browse the feed for what others swam this morning. Tap a photo to read the story behind it. React with a fist bump, leave a comment, tag the swim buddies you went out with.

EVENTS & GATHERINGS
Coordinate morning dips, sauna sessions, and seasonal events. RSVP, see who else is going, get reminders. The Events tab keeps the club's schedule in one place.

YOUR DATA, BEAUTIFULLY
Personal stats by week, month, and season. Distance over time, temperature trends, your warmest and coldest swims. Club leaderboards you can opt out of anytime.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Earn milestones for first swims, distance landmarks, sub-zero water, season streaks, and more.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
NIS Tracker is a closed-club app. New accounts wait for admin approval. No ads, no algorithmic feed, no growth tricks. Just the club, captured.

Swim times are freeform now — the picker opens on the right time, and entering a duration prefills when you got in.

### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-08

Log a Swim is redesigned — cleaner and all on one screen. Every Sandkaj swim gets tappable weather — felt temperature, wind, gusts and rain. And a new home chart tracks the club's last five swim days, highlighting the days you swam.

Kind of a busy Monday. Log a Swim is redesigned — cleaner, faster, all on one screen. Tap the new Weather stat on a Sandkaj swim for felt temperature, wind and rain, and see the last five swim days charted right on the home screen.

### 2.2.8 — 2026-09-05

Air temperature and real feel now fill themselves in for swims at Sandkaj, taken from the weather at the time you actually swam. Jellyfish sightings show the count you reported on the swim card. The insight of the week now includes a line about your own swimming — your first cold swim of the season, your coldest so far, or how your week compared. It's worked out on your phone, so nothing personal leaves it.

Spot jellyfish on a swim and the app now asks how many you saw and which lane. Photos also appear on your swim card the moment you save, while they upload.
