Power went out at night recently, so I hooked up my iPod to a portable stereo and was able to fall asleep to this app! Ever since the iOS update, and despite the app update, the fan won’t continue to play when the phone locks. It only runs when the phone is open and we can’t keep it like that all night. The problem with all of these apps is that we are given multiple fan sounds from "someone else's fan". I try falling asleep to them, but it's never as good as the sound of the one in my bedroom! Can you add a fan sound recording option? (Then we can just put it on loop). What would really go above and beyond would be if people could share thier fan sounds (with the make and model), and have them avail for download. I have a Honeywell air purifier in my bedroom and I simply CANNOT sleep without it!! Fan #3 in NiteFan sounds identical ☺️ NiteFan's other sounds are also lovely and the app couldn't be simpler to use. However, it stopped running in the background. Huge con if you want it to play the fan sounds all night.
