Please correct the title ### 3/5 — Disappointed but app is useful *2022-07-29* Advertised as Fire Bible but no notes as the Fire Bible has in the print version. The NIV chapters do no load full chapter unless you go to next page then back. If the parallel NKJV is selected then it will display full chapter. Lot of bugs like this but for the price I guess I can deal with it thru prayer and patience. ### 3/5 — Good app but… *2022-05-09* I love this version but the app needs some attention. The bookmark feature is not working and there are typos throughout. For instance, in the book of Ruth, Ruth’s name appears only as h. When I copy and paste I have to in put the chapter and version .. Also his contact info is missing too. Would have love to contacted his directly. Also would love it if I could have option for no music with the reading of the Bible. I know this is not going to get answered but thought it was worth a try. But when you open it always shows loading image..so we could not read the last chapter. So Every time we need to select new chapters. Also if you click any other options it will not work immediately. Its always shows loading image.. FINALLY ITS NOT USER FRIENDLY APP. ### 3/5 — Too much space used - 3.4 GB *2018-03-24* The main problem with this app is it uses 3.4GB space on your device when you download the Bible and Audio. Other thing like the setting will not stay so I have to set the font size each time. One mistake I saw so far is instead Of Ephesians, it showed Galatians. The audio is not bad, but because it takes up so much space, I can’t really use this app. A question to the developers: I purchased both the Bible and the audio Bible. Can I just download the Bible part but not the audio Bible? I tried putting the font at XL but the font size doesn't change. However, today I opened Ephesians and at the top of the screen it says “letter to Galatians. “ That does not inspire confidence in the correctness of the Bible content. That is very concerning to me. I tried to find a way to give feedback to the developer to ask for a correction, but I could not find any. I’m leaving a review hoping they will see it and make the correction. ### 1/5 — Save your five bucks! *2023-02-11* I paid the $4.99 and the audio files started to load automatically. About 1% every 10 or 15 seconds, and even when it said it had reached 100% it never stopped loading. It is still loading! A few of the functions work, but you still can’t search or display all the books of the Bible even to read. The audio still doesn’t work. 👎🏻 Don’t waste your money or your time! ### 1/5 — Audio not working *2022-09-05* I have tried to get audio on this app and it’s already charged me TWICE $2.99 then $4.99 and STILL no audio. I paid for all options about 4 years ago and I would GLADLY PAY AGAIN if I could just restore all books and all features. Does anyone know how to do that? ### 1/5 — Only provides Genesis; doesn’t provide link to unlock the rest *2022-02-24* I used to like this app, but now it won’t let me go beyond Genesis. It says I have to upgrade Books and Audio first, but neither of those apps on my phone show as needing any updates. Then I saw in the description and other reviews that you have to pay to unlock the rest of the books of the Bible and I would gladly do that, but there is no link provided at which to do that. I could not find such a link in the app itself or on the corresponding page in the App Store. I tried the menu item that said “Restore Purchases” since I had this app on my last phone (which was a Galaxy), but that attempt wasn’t successful either. If anyone out there knows how to correct this issue with this app, please let me know and I will happily edit this review and increase my rating significantly. Until then, a Bible app that only lets you use one of the 66 books and doesn’t give you a way to unlock the rest is not of much use. ### 1/5 — Is this app still being supported? *2021-06-14* Having numerous issues with the app…full chapters are not loading, highlights will not work, after defining a word cannot get back to my reading without leaving the app and returning…how does one communicate with the developer? ### 1/5 — 1984 NIV is great but this app is very poor *2021-04-20* Are use this app for a few years and then begin to have trouble with it so I uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall only to find that I had to purchase it again. This is one of my favorite versions of the Bible so I was willing to pay for it again, but this was a mistake as the app hangs often. Further, the audible recording of the 1984 NIV Bible required a second purchase, which I did not make and am thankful for that as the app is again malfunctioning. Unfortunately this app will probably get removed from my phone and I will not buy it again, nor will I buy from this provider. I also love the simplicity of the navigation within the app. ### 5/5 — Finally a 1984 NIV - developers please do updates to fix minor flaws *2017-12-30* Great to get a 1984 NIV - but app has a few bugs. 1. The Bible text is 1984 release but the search engine is using a later NIV revision. When doing a word search the later version is displayed 2. When app starts a progress icon “please wait” is present in the middle of screen for 10 sec 3. The app will not remember my preferences- font and color. 4. Love to be able to change color scheme of the app itself- red is a bit loud. ### 5/5 — BEST NIV AUDIO EVER!!! *2017-09-13* I NEVER write reviews. Matter of fact this is my first. Seeing the Bible app only had one 5 star review I felt obligated to give it the recognition it truly deserves. Yes you have to pay $4.99 to use it but I tell you it is worth every penny! Once you download it you have it forever. No ads no pop-up. Never having to be online to use the app. But what makes this app so totally awesome is the dynamic reading of the Bible. It's not just one persons voice your listening to but a whole slew of characters making your listening experience so enjoyable. Along with the dynamic reading of the Bible there is beautiful music and sound effects in the background at a perfect volume! You will listen longer and find yourself looking forward to reading & listening to your Bible more often. It will be the best $5 you have ever spent! ### 5/5 — NIV 1984 -- FINALLY!!! *2017-08-15* I just loaded this. The free version only gives you Genesis, so I paid $3 to load the rest. And, FINALLY, after a few years of wishing I could have the NIV1984 on a Bible app -- NOW I HAVE IT!!! The app works great and the NIV1984 text appears to be authentic. I noticed that some folks reviewed this poorly because of the audio. I haven't purchased that, because I don't really care about the audio. But, considering that it only costs $2, I really don't understand why anyone would complain about it. I will tell my friends about this app. Thank you so much for creating it! God bless you! Update: So, out of curiosity, I decided to pay $3 for the audio. Wow! Apparently, the first version of the audio was just a text to speech engine. That is no longer the case. The audio is a dramatic reading of the Bible, with sound effects, beautiful music (Psalm 23 is awesome), etc. Well worth the cost! So, save a buck and load both text and audio for $5 up front. It’s hard to find an online NIV Bible with the 1984 version. And this gives the option of reading NKJV as well. Only issue I’ve had is that I’ve noticed several incorrect texts in Esther chapter 2, verses 7 through 11.
