Your screen time just became a competition. NIX Scoreboard turns putting your phone down into a game you play with friends. Every minute of screen time is priced in tokens (NX). Lowest score wins. And when the day is going badly, Focus mode blocks every app on your phone and takes the score back down. Willpower is unreliable. Being watched works. Screen-time apps built on private self-discipline get deleted in week two. A number your best friend checks does not. You put the phone down for the same reason you show up to the gym when someone is waiting: somebody knows. FOCUS MODE Book 5 to 120 minutes. NIX blocks every app on your phone. Phone, Messages, FaceTime, Maps, and your Always Allowed list stay open. Every focused minute takes 1 NX off today's score. Finish the session and a bonus comes off too. End early and you keep the minutes, not the bonus. Your friends can see that you are focusing, and how long is left. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect Screen Time. Your iPhone counts the minutes on your device. 2. Sort your apps into categories. Social and games cost more than productivity. 3. Add your friends and race for the lowest score. 4. Bad day? Start a focus session and watch the score drop. WHAT'S ON THE BOARD - A daily scoreboard with your friends. Lowest score takes the day. - Groups for roommates, a team, or a bet, each with its own board and reward. - Medals for the top three, day wins, and streaks for staying on top. - Moments: share a photo of what you did instead of scrolling. - Event races: one-shot competitions for a weekend, a trip, or a bet. - The podium: see who won, every evening. PRIVACY, PLAINLY What leaves your phone is minutes per category and the score they add up to. Not which apps, not what you did in them, not anything on your screen. Screen Time is read on your device and the raw numbers stay there. Focus mode blocks apps on your phone; it never reports what you opened. Connecting Screen Time also turns on Apple's adult website filter on your phone. It runs on your device, and we never see what you browse. It starts counting the day you install it. Free on iPhone. Put the phone down. Take the board. ## Is NIX safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess NIX. ## Is NIX legit? NIX - Scoreboard has limited verification signals. Focus together at the table: one code, one end time for everyone. Pick up early and it's 0 NX. If everyone finishes, everyone gets a group bonus. One Scoreboard. All friends and your groups in one tab. Focus on the board. See friends' Focus and rank any board by minutes focused. Notifications per board. Everything, Important or Off, from Profile. How Scoreboard works. A 33 second story, anytime from Profile. Also: faster loading, and sorting apps into categories no longer gets stuck on older iPhones. ### 1.4 — 2026-09-22 Fixes a crash that kept NIX Scoreboard from opening on iOS 27. Update to get back on the board. ### 1.3 — 2026-09-20 Focus got a fix, and Screen Time access now does one more thing. - The Focus timer can no longer get stuck. It has a Close button, your session keeps running behind it, and the ring is lighter on your phone. - Screen Time access now also turns on Apple's adult website filter on your phone. A healthier default, built in. It runs on your device and we never see what you browse. ### 1.2 — 2026-09-10 Focus mode. Block every app on your phone for 5 to 120 minutes. Every focused minute takes 1 NX off today's score; finish the session for a bonus. A new Home: today's score itemized by category, with a Focus row for what came off. Friends and the scoreboard now show who is focusing right now. Tighter layout on every screen, plus smaller fixes. ### 1.1 — 2026-08-21 Competitions can now score a single category. A leader can set a board to race on social, games, or any mix, so a group can compete on least social media this week instead of total screen time. Streaks now follow your daily goal. Every day you finish under the goal you set adds to your streak. Home updates the moment you set or clear a goal. ## Apps similar to NIX | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Polyphasic Sleep Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/polyphasic-sleep-tracker/id6449134102) | 3.6 (5) | $2.49 | Lifestyle | | [115.1](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/1151/id1605899553) | 5.0 (7) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Harvest: A Vertical Church](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/harvest-a-vertical-church/id1492467140) | 5.0 (25) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Pioneering Prayer](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pioneering-prayer/id1506574492) | 4.9 (8) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Stunio](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/stunio/id6460253923) | 4.5 (22) | Free | Lifestyle | | [The Faith and Family App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/the-faith-and-family-app/id6504541444) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Lifestyle | ## More apps by NIX Development LLC - [NIX - Phone-Free](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/nix-phone-free/id6780251653) All apps by NIX Development LLC: https://appshunter.io/developer/6780252045 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
