## What is Niyyah?

Niyyah is an ad-free, privacy-focused prayer application designed to help Muslims build and maintain consistent salah habits. Niyyah works offline, so your core worship experience stays available and private on your device.

Prayer times support all calculation methods. You can choose azan, silent alert, or off for each prayer individually. Pre-prayer reminders are available, and notifications remain active after device restart.

Choose from 26 home-screen widget designs, including next prayer, full timetable, countdown, daily prayer tracking, and streak views. Dark and light themes are supported, with 18 color presets available in the Widget Workshop.

Track daily prayers, monitor your streak, and review your consistency through a weekly heatmap. Excuse mode supports menstruation days so prayer tracking remains accurate and fair.

The qibla compass includes sensor calibration guidance and vibration feedback when alignment is reached. The tasbih counter includes ready-to-use dhikr phrases and custom goal support, with a full-screen tap area for easier counting.

Access 80+ duas from Quran, hadith, and trusted compilations, presented with Arabic text, transliteration, and translation. Save frequently used duas to favorites and identify sources quickly with color-coded references.

For structured learning, Niyyah includes 9 courses across 3 levels with 57+ lessons, including wudu guides, salah guides, the 32 fard obligations, an Islamic glossary, and selected surahs. Content is designed with gender and madhab sensitivity.

Log qada (missed) prayers by prayer time and use the auto-qada planner to create a monthly completion plan. You can also receive reminders for 18 important religious days, including Ramadan, Eid al-Adha, and Laylat al-Qadr, plus Friday Surah Al-Kahf reminders.

Optional premium analytics provide completion rates, weekly and monthly trends, radar charts, and smart insights. Core worship features remain free.
