Thank you! ### 4/5 — My go to app for train schedules. *2018-09-17, version 10.4.10* I have the NJTransit official app for buying tickets that includes live train schedules. A have two more apps with schedules. I can go to the NJTransit page and get them, so why this? This app is the fastest way to see what train (and which track) is coming. Plus, I can follow a train once it leaves the station. Perfect if I know a friend left New York on the 4:57 and I am picking them up from the train station. Also, I’d like to be able to name the entries. For example, the entry for a specific train is named “train # 123”, I’d like to change to “NB 4:40 55 min” to indicate that it’s a train leaving from the NB station at 4:40 that takes 55 min to arrive at my destination. When you have many trains on the screen, it’s hard to remember which train is which train. I even bought the "ad free" option, I was such a believer. However, the most recent version hasn't been updated in months, and it is buggy! EVERY time I go to the main page to do anything, it pops up "Welcome to NJ Rails", as if it's my first time using the app. Oh, and by the way, probably related to the same issue, it now forgets every time I open it that I purchased the "ad free" version, meaning I have to go and "restore purchases" every time. But the next time I open the app, it forgets! PLEASE fix!!! It's a hassle since I really like this app and use it frequently. ### 1/5 — August 4 2016 update won't download *2016-08-05, version 10.0.0* August 4 2016 update won't download ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Way better than the official NJ transit app!! *2026-07-14, version 10.4.21* The NJ transit authority should pay this developer to design their official app for them, because this app is a thousand times better than the official app. In fact, the NJ transit authority recently paid god knows how much to have their app updated by some other firm (probably paying off their uncle’s third cousin who knows somebody who knows something about app programming if you pay ‘em 10x the going rate, knowing how Jersey works), and although it now looks like slightly more modern it’s more useless than ever. At least with this unofficial app you can still see what track your train will be on! Basics like that the official NJ Transit app can’t even get right. So all the stars to this app for understanding what commuters actually need. Amazing the program gives this app away for free. Must be a saint!
