Couldn’t get in, and when I tried the password reset, the app insisted that I use a third party Multi-factor Authentication app, which I absolutely don’t want on my phone. Too much work to access the pay feature. I’ll go back to using my spreadsheet. ### 2/5 — 2FA *2026-06-23* The 2 factor authentication update, doesn’t work. I am unable to use the Pay function now. A new KCM tab opens on the nearest airport with an entry: where the crew door is, when it is staffed, and what it looks like. The list and the checkpoint photograph for all 112 airports are kept on the device, because the moment they are most wanted is a terminal with no signal. • Search the airport you are going to. The codes are published without the K the flight plan uses, so ATL and KATL both find it. • The photograph sits beside the written directions. Pinch it up to six times to read a gate number off a concourse plan. • Hours the source leaves blank are shown blank, not as always open. • While the tab is open the map puts the fleet away and marks every field with an entry. Picking one goes to it with the fifty mile ring. On the map: • Rest a pointer on anything to see what it is. An airport gives its name, town, country, elevation and its runways, longest first. An aircraft gives its type, where it is going with both ends named, and how long it has sat there. Mac and iPad with a pointer. • The wheel zooms, at the pointer rather than at the middle of the screen. • Street map imagery is drawn at full strength. The vector world no longer sits over it washing it out. • Your own position, on the Mac version. Pay: • Arriving at Reconcile recalculates everything, whichever tab you came from. Changing a pay table and going back used to show the old figures. • A Vector day coded R reaches the reconcile as a 2.5x day, as it already did the duty day list. • Holidays are marked on the Vector calendar in the same red as the duty day tiles. • An import no longer opens a list of what it read. It says what it did in a line, with the readings a tap away, and the line goes after five seconds. • Importing from Files, and the text scanner, now work in the Mac version. Fixed: • The pay period chart overflowed once the text was turned up. The band holding the bars is measured from the writing now instead of a fixed number. Nothing is uploaded, collected or transferred anywhere. It stays on the device you imported it on. ### 1.23.9 — 2026-08-24 Privacy, housekeeping, and a way to set up a second device in one step. • Privacy. Takes the figures off every amount the app writes, for showing the app to somebody or filming it. Two sliders: cover puts blocks over a place and everything above it, keeping the amount's shape, and shorten takes those places off and leaves a left arrow. A setting is a place value rather than a number of digits, so hidden from the hundreds up, $999,999.00 reads as an arrow and 99.00 while $14.10 beside it is untouched. Press and hold any figure to bring it back for a few seconds. There is a switch in the title bar for turning the whole thing on and off between takes. • Manage imports. A new row behind the Import button shows everything the app is holding: how many ADP statements, how many OFF messages, how many Vector roster months, and what each is taking up. Open a year and clear out a kind at a time, or take the year whole. Nothing goes until a dialog has listed back exactly what will be deleted. • Display. The size of the writing, for when the app is on a screen it was not drawn for. The size belongs to the screen rather than to you, so a size set on a Mac is not carried to your phone. • Reset. Puts back the pages that show themselves once, so the notices and the capture guide can be read again. • Copy credentials now copies your settings too. Setting up a second device meant typing a long password and a base32 secret into it, and then a hire date, a date of birth, a seat and a schedule. All of it now travels in one encrypted transfer, along with the tutorials you have already been through so you are not sat through them twice. Nothing you have imported is sent. • Authentication works properly when the app is run on an Apple Silicon Mac. It now allows the Mac's account password where there is no Touch ID. Fixed: • FDP Tour could show a pay figure against nought hours. The line counted hours above the ten hour threshold but priced itself off hours flown when no tour had finished in the fortnight. Both halves of the row are now the same figure, so the multiplication can be checked by eye. • The money scale beside the duty period graph ignored the privacy setting. • The Set Credentials screen asked "Allow Paste?" every two seconds while it watched for a transfer from another device. It now asks the system whether the clipboard has changed, which costs nothing, and reads it only when it has. • The bottom bar overflowed once the text was turned up. Nothing is uploaded, collected or transferred anywhere. It all stays in the app, on the device you imported it on. ### 1.23.1 — 2026-08-20 Import screenshots of the relevant OFF message and your Vector roster. Sidekick reads it, works out what you should have paid, and reconciles it against your ADP statement. ### 1.21.3 — 2026-08-11 A big update to the Map and Pay tabs. AIRPORTS • A new Airports tab on the map page. Search by identifier, name or town — KJFK, Heathrow, Aspen — and see codes, elevation, position, runways with length, surface and lighting, published frequencies, and links to the airport's website and Wikipedia. • Tap any airport on the map to open it. The globe turns to it and rings it at 50 miles, without disturbing the view you had set up. WHERE YOU ARE • A location button on the map sidebar. One press centres the map on you at a 50-mile view, marked with a pulsing ring. • Every airport inside that ring is shown, whether or not anything is parked there, so you can see where you could go. SEEING MORE OF THE FLEET • An ALL button shows the aircraft your filters have hidden, as faint tail numbers, so the rest of the fleet is there as background without competing with the aircraft you picked. They can still be tapped. • Searching for a tail number no longer empties the map. • A map imagery button draws OpenStreetMap underneath the globe when you are zoomed in, so roads and towns show through beneath the aircraft. YOUR DATES • Set your hire date, date of birth and retirement once in the menu. • The Pay tab can then work out your years of service itself, moving you up a step on your anniversary without you touching anything. Retirement can be set by a planned age rather than a date. 401(k) • A new contribution limit card on the Pay tab showing the standard limit and every catch-up band, with the one that applies to your age marked. • The 401(k) help now works out the percentage of your base pay that reaches the annual limit across 26 paychecks, and shows a table of what you and the company each put in at every contribution rate. • It also covers the overall annual ceiling, how much of your premium pay goes into the plan under 27.2(J) and the point at which that stops, and the catch-up and super catch-up rules. EXPLAINING ITSELF • Info buttons on the Map, Fleet, Company and Pay tabs explain what everything on them means — including which items open help on a tap and which need a long press. FIXES • The N button on the map now stays as you left it between launches. • Everything drawn in black is now readable in night mode, including landed aircraft, airports and their routes. • Dates set in the menu take effect on the Pay tab straight away. • Catch-up eligibility now follows the year you turn 50 or 60, as the rules intend, rather than your age on the day. • The Pay tab title no longer runs off the edge on smaller phones. ### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-08 fixes to the mapping system.
