Much easier to just go online to any of the greater Cincinnati news sites--they are all free and honestly those sites are even more user friendly. Not worth the download. Do not recommend. ### 1/5 — Now pay only.... *2015-11-03, version 4.0* ....and not noted as being this way in the App Store. Just became this way this week. Requesting that the app is to be pulled until Gannett correctly indicates that the content requires a subscription. BTW, not just the most recent articles, EVERYTHING!!!! Ridiculous..... ### 1/5 — Pay for news?!?! *2015-11-03, version 4.0* They recently updated their app and require you to be a paid subscriber to view ANY of their articles. With so many diverse revenue-generating business models within the multi-media industry, it is a shame that this is the approach that they took. I will promptly be deleting their app, and switching solely to WLWT. They are running off their dwindling readers…it's a shame. Can understand one or the other but just greedy. ### 1/5 — Paywalled *2020-12-09, version 6.2.0* Apparently the 3-4 ads per article weren’t enough that now it’s paywalled to view anything. Including COVID-19 news. They have destroyed the neighborhood news papers, shut down their local Facebook groups, fired most reporters so your wanting us to pay for press releases and poorly written articles. Until July 2010 Due to hubbys new job we moved to Brooklyn Indiana which is 15 miles SW of Indianapolis. We live on very limited budget so getting to read NKY.com is great as I know what’s happening st our hometown.
