And being able to listen to pronunciation is great. However the iMessage quiz has disappeared with the new update. A very nice breadth of phrases too. I like the revamp the interface looks nice. I have some suggestions though: - it would be cool if we could choose to do more than 10 phrases a day - I would like to be able to do spaced repetition flashcards for each specific section (e.g. Greetings, Faith etc), that would help greatly with learning, rather than just clicking on each phrase in a list Thanks for the nice app! ### 3/5 — Good but needs upgraded *2026-06-16, version 7.0.2* I really like this app!! Version 7.0 of Twi Phrasebook was rebuilt from the ground up with many new features, including improved learning tools, phonetic pronunciation, cultural notes, and a redesigned learning experience. Unfortunately, some data from older versions could not be carried over during this transition. We're sorry for the inconvenience. We are continuing to improve the app and are exploring ways to better preserve user data across future updates. Thank you for learning Twi with us and for taking the time to share your experience. ### 3/5 — The new update is nice, but missing some older features! *2026-04-20, version 7.0.0* I purchased the Twi Phrasebook and other bundle apps a long time ago, and have always liked being able to open the app and look at the vocabulary when I need to remember a word or phrase. With this newest update, I do like the new layout and practice oriented style, but with it we’ve lost a lot of access to the vocabulary and the “phrasebook” aspect behind a new subscription, which is a bit frustrating as someone who had already paid before to purchase the app. If there was a way to give more access to the vocab for those who had already purchased in the past, that would be great! I purchased this product, the full sweep over a year ago. And although we haven’t used it in much sense. We used it enough to notice we were never required to login or to be bombarded by advertisement. However, now that we are situated to a point where need to use this software for its intended purpose. We find it extremely annoying with every click to be presented with a login to Apple for no apparent reason. FYI, to advertisers if you have to constantly throw your crap in peoples faces how in the hell do you expect them to respect you enough to investigate your product. I dismissed it as I don’t want it. However it now pops up EVERY time I’m on the app & EVERY time I look at a different word or phrase. Further more it’s unprompted asking me to enter my iTunes password so it can charge me the fee. So annoying has it become I’m prob going to delete the whole bundle of 4 apps from this developer/supplier. It's easy to use & actually good fun too. I got the bundle and it's a great buy. You can slow down the pronunciation to get to grips with new words & phrases. It makes learning this completely new-to-me language not so daunting.
