When I press the play button, the app just closes down. After many attempts, I gave up. The text-to-speech does work well however but that is not what I wanted when I purchased the app as I can do this outside of the app for free. Everything else about the app seems to work well. I haven’t had any luck of hearing back after reaching out to the app’s developer. ### 2/5 — Have to use another app to get daily word *2023-02-03* I like the way this NLT Bible reads I don’t like the fact that the daily word is not updated it’s not on the correct day and there is no way to change it that I have seen and I like reading the daily word to start the morning but it’s still stuck on January 29th. Now I am trying to find a simple similar version to download; but they all seem to have heaps of unnecessary features! I am 82 and a church member with a Bible Study group. I give the app one star for that horrible robot voice. It’s just demonic to me. I can’t stand it, I don’t like robots I don’t like Ai. Unfortunately, technology has become infiltrated by the enemy’s camp and ruined in general. Don’t let this happen to your app developers, fix this now; hire someone, a real live person. Yes, it will take a long time, but let them read the whole Bible (Some bible app dev.s hire more than one narrator) pay them, and praise God about it. A robot voice is unappealing and unnecessary.
