### 4/5 — Great way to read the newspaper

*2022-11-08, version 3.6.09*

Some of the functionality is a little sensitive as to when the full article will open

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — Bluebird WSJ

*2022-08-22, version 3.6.09*

I really deeply wish that other organizations (such as the New York Times and Barron’s) could organize their sites to be as user-friendly and superlatively executed as Bluebird does with the Wall Street Journal!! I pray for the day when these two publications are available on Bluebird!!!

### 5/5 — Good way to read

*2022-06-22, version 3.6.09*

I use this app for the Wall Street Journal. It’s easy to read with it. I can enlarge the print or have an article highlighted.

### 5/5 — WSJin technavia

*2022-06-01, version 3.6.09*

Perfect app. Makes reading the WSJ easy. Digital paper looks exacatly the same as hard copy. Easy to turn pages and navigate “see page 8” which is hard to do in actual paper

### 5/5 — Great way to read

*2022-05-30, version 3.6.09*

Enjoy this app!

### 4/5 — Used to be better

*2022-05-03, version 3.6.09*

If you leave its reader to answer a text or look something up, it goes to current issue. You have to manually go back to what you were reading before. Wasn't like that a month or so ago.
---------------------------
Works well, easy way to read a periodical. I wish they'd stop tweaking it. Everytime they do they make it worse. But great for reading Wall Street Journal.

### 5/5 — Thanks

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please fix app!

*2020-09-23*

After recent updates the app is not working for WSJ. While previous editions are easily available with full features, the current daY’s paper never downloads completely and as such repeatedly shows error message asking if user wants to “retry” downloading. It then goes into endless loop. I’ve tried eliminating the app on iPad and reloading from Apple App Store but nothing works. It now will not even open the app saying there was a server error. Please fix.

### 2/5 — Once-every-minute warnings to tell me I am offline

*2021-09-22, version 3.2.49*

It is maddening that, every 60 seconds, a warning box pops in the middle of the screen to tell me that I am offline. Once is enough! This bug really detracts from reading when I am flying or a passenger in the car.

### 2/5 — Bluebird

*2021-01-02, version 3.2.49*

Some pages and most images don’t load clearly on a iPad

### 2/5 — Normally great but...

*2019-09-27, version 2.9.18*

The app needs to be updated to work with latest IOS 13 update. Crashes after reading few pages. Or pages go blank. Worked great prior to that update.

### 2/5 — Some issues

*2019-06-09, version 2.9.18*

I am using an IPhone SE to read the Wall St Journal. Here are some issues I noticed in first day of use. 1)There is no option to adjust the speed of the voice that reads the article.
2)When you read an article in the reading pane, you finish at the bottom of the page. Then when you open another article, it opens at the bottom of the page. But it won’t let you scroll up to the start of the article.
3) when you tap the screen in the reading pane, the screen goes blank.

### 2/5 — No Full Page View for Text

*2018-09-06*

I use three apps to read newspapers on my iPad mini. The best of the three is the Olive app I use for my local paper. Second is the Press Reader app I use for The NY Times. This app is a distant third. The primary reason for this rating is that the app does not allow a full screen option when viewing an article in text mode. When viewing in text mode, half the screen is always dedicated to the digital replica view and half to the text. I don’t understand while you cannot utilize the full screen for text mode and then close when you have read the article. On an iPad mini, you have to continuously scroll the article text when only half the screen is used. Bluebird developers, please take a look at the Olive app used by Hearst newspapers to see how easily you can enter and exit full screen text mode.

### 3/5 — WSJ

*2021-11-26, version 3.2.49*

Easy to read. Need to be able to read earlier papers. Select the date & download to refresh my memory of event on a particular day!

### 3/5 — Please read my comment

*2020-10-10, version 3.2.41*

One of the things I liked best about format was the ease with which I could forward articles via email on this app.

Now, when send them they won’t open.

### 3/5 — Update 4 days ago a failure

*2020-09-21*

Update 4 days ago renders app useless for access to WSJ. Four days ago app would load content, but would not allow expanded view on some pages (crashed on opening side view). Now the app hangs before opening any content. Please give us back the app rev before the recent fixes. Love the app and hate to see it a failure.

### 4/5 — Good

*2024-04-27*

I LOVE this app for reading; it makes it very easy to read articles, especially long pieces. it often has technical issues tho which are very annoying.
