### 2/5 — Fix your app please!!!!!

*2025-11-04*

It’s been over a month since I left a review about not being able to scroll through the messages, group discussions, or chats. Was told to email your support. I did and no response.

If your finger is scrubbing on the screen the chat should move up or down. But it’s just frozen unless you touch a tiny bit of the background, so if your finger is on a chat bubble it won’t move. I pay for the app… so PLEASE fix this. Otherwise you just care about making money from people and nothing more.

**Developer response:** We’re so sorry you ran into this issue. Our latest update includes a fix, and everything should now be running smoothly. If not, please reach out to our support team and we’ll make it right. We wish you the best on your no contact journey! ❤️

### 4/5 — Please fix this UX design..

*2025-09-15*

I can’t even scroll on a conversation or page without it being stuck. Once you scroll, you have to hold onto that scroll otherwise it gets stuck if you let go and I can’t even move on the screen (I.e., scroll up or down). Not very user friendly—please fix this function.

**Developer response:** Hi there, we are so sorry about this, this is the first time we’ve heard of this issue. Would you be able to reach out to support and give more information? We want to fix this for you as soon as possible. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you are still enjoying other parts of the app.

### 1/5 — Reason for cost is “AI”

*2025-09-04*

To follow up on my last review after reading others and the reasoning of cost being “it’s AI used” I could just use ChatGPT? That’s completely free by the way. Instead of misleading people, just make the app itself in the App Store payable. Don’t trick people into thinking it’s a free app then tack on a bunch of random prices.

**Developer response:** Hi Leah, thank you for following up and sharing your feedback. We are a small 2 person team trying to make the best tool for people struggling through breakups. While AI is one part of the app, what really sets NoContact apart is the supportive community, guided healing plans, and ongoing new features designed specifically for breakup recovery. Running and moderating a safe space, improving the experience, and keeping everything sustainable does require resources beyond just AI. We understand the concern about pricing and are always working to make sure the value feels worth it. We truly want this to be the best tool for healing after a breakup. Message our support email and we'd love to make this right with you. ❤️

### 1/5 — terrible

*2025-08-01, version 4.5*

i have to pay? just for it to give me a quote everyday from pinterest and for it to count how many days we’ve not had contact. do not buy or install this is a con

### 1/5 — odd

*2025-07-29, version 4.4*

like why do i have to pay yall to move on?? weirdos 😭

### 1/5 — There are free resources that do the same thing

*2025-07-22*

Like the title says. Heartbreak is awful, and during this time it’s so easy to fall into anything that might help. That being said, this app doesn’t do anything you can’t find in other apps and resources for free. Don’t waste your money on this and happy healing everyone. It will get better.

**Developer response:** Hi there,
We truly understand how difficult heartbreak can be and appreciate you sharing your experience. While there are free resources out there, our app is designed to be an all-in-one support system with daily tools, guided plans, a supportive community, and features that require ongoing maintenance and development. The paid version helps us keep everything running smoothly and ad-free for those who need structured healing.

That said, we wish you all the best in your healing journey and hope things continue to get better for you 💛

### 1/5 — absolute letdown

*2025-07-20*

Found an app that I thought would finally help me with my no contact journey. Nope. It’s a free app that charges you monthly to use it’s “services” which is really just you looking at random things you can find on google. They don’t care about helping people through breakups, they are monetizing your grief and trauma. I’d look elsewhere.

**Developer response:** Hi dagrategrandad,

We’re really sorry to hear that the app didn’t meet your expectations. Breakups are incredibly difficult, and our goal has always been to provide a dedicated, structured space to support people through no contact, beyond what scattered Google searches or generic apps can offer.

We understand your concerns about cost, and we take them seriously. While some features may seem familiar, what makes our app unique is the combination of structured healing plans, AI-guided support, and most importantly, a strong, supportive community of people who truly understand what you’re going through. We’re proud to foster a safe, judgment-free space that helps thousands of users feel less alone during one of the hardest times of their lives.

We’re always working to improve, and your feedback helps us do that. If you’d be open to sharing more details or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you directly.

### 1/5 — honestly not that great

*2025-07-18*

i paid for the subscription because i was desperate for a no contact app. i wish i looked at other apps before choosing this one because there are much better options for much cheaper, some of them are even free. this app doesn’t actually offer anything that you don’t already have on your phone—it has a journal section which isn’t any fancier than your notes app, an ai chatbot (chatgpt is free), and a day tracker but again you can just find another free one elsewhere. i regret buying the subscription but i already paid for it so i guess i’ll just use it. but i definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

**Developer response:** Hi felinalina,
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear the app didn’t meet your expectations. We understand how important support and value are during a difficult time like going no contact.

While tools like journaling and AI support are available elsewhere, our app is built to bring everything together in one focused space, with a strong, supportive community that understands exactly what you’re going through. Many users tell us the real value comes from not feeling alone, being able to share experiences, and receiving encouragement from others on the same journey.

That said, we appreciate your honesty and will continue improving the app based on feedback like yours. If you have suggestions or need any help, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

### 1/5 — Just another money pit against the weak

*2025-07-10*

Not paying $8 a week for a counter. The fact theres no free option makes it come off as just feeding on people who are hurt.

**Developer response:** We'd love to make NoContact completely free, but features like the Al support, daily guidance, and a safe, moderated community all require real resources to maintain. If you just want a counter, then many apps offer that for free! We're a small team doing our best to support people through breakups while keeping the app running. Thanks for sharing your thoughts — we're always listening.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2025-07-09, version 4.0*

### 1/5 — it’s not free

*2025-06-22*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — payment

*2026-08-01, version 8.1*

need to pay

### 1/5 — Overpriced Ai generated slop

*2026-07-24*

It’s so obvious from the dashes, robotic formality, and phrases much of the written content is AI. I was willing to look past that. But the very function it promotes, you have to pay for itself. The no contact tracker.
At this point, use a fasting app or your regular stopwatch.

### 1/5 — Choose a different app!

*2026-07-21*

This app offers no help other tracking the days, it’s not worth the money, they expect you to talk to yourself and figure it all out, what if someone was suicidal over a break up?

### 1/5 — I wanted to try FREE TRIAL….

*2026-05-22, version 7.2*

Yet I’m charged for an entire YEAR! I want a refund…it’s actually doing more damage mentally!!!

### 1/5 — No customer service

*2026-04-23*

Thought I was getting the free trial was charged for a year. Attempted to reach out 3x no response.

### 1/5 — Must pay to access app

You will have to pay.

**Developer response:** We'd love to make NoContact completely free, but features like the Al support, daily guidance, and a safe, moderated community all require real resources to maintain. *2025-10-15, version 5.3*

### 1/5 — Must pay to use

*2025-10-08, version 5.2*

Overpriced. Waste of time

### 1/5 — Should be free

*2025-10-01, version 5.1*

I believe this should be free to those with low income. Such as me. I’ll just use other services that are free and go my own way. Such a shame. You guys just lost a valuable user/customer.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Let’s try again

*2026-07-01*

Downloaded this app before but did not have much faith in it and deleted it when I thought I had moved on from a 9 year relationship that had a tragic ending.

### 5/5 — Bailey q93

*2026-06-29, version 8.0*

I love it

### 5/5 — Emotional Breakthrough

*2026-01-19, version 6.7*

The AI chat option is so amazing and on demand makes it so effective. The ongoing ick list is hysterical! The information, reason for leaving que. This app is a saving grace. Excited for my healing journey with this app. Especially because I have no friends/family to support me through my separation with my abuser due to the isolation. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

### 5/5 — Best app ever

*2025-08-07*

I love the app. It’s a lot better than the other app that has almost 5 stars. I joined that one before joining this one and right away I quit that one. That one seemed so lonely. This one gives so much more support. Granted, you have to pay for this one. But I feel not alone and with a lot more support. I love this app. I go on it everyday, journal and text the ex via this app. It’s a great resource.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing your experience! 💛 We’re so glad to hear you’ve found more support and connection here compared to other apps. Our goal has always been to make sure no one feels alone during such a tough time, and it’s amazing to know the journaling, AI support, and community features are helping you every day. We truly appreciate your support and are honored to be part of your healing journey. If you have any other feedback, we’d love to hear about it.

### 5/5 — Genuinely helped me heal

*2025-07-27*

This app came into my life at the exact moment I needed it. I was constantly refreshing my ex’s socials, replaying old conversations in my head, and feeling completely stuck. The structure this app gave me, tracking my no contact streak, checking in each day, and reading reminders that actually resonated and made all the difference. It helped me shift my focus back to myself. I’m over 30 days in now, and for the first time in a while, I feel calm. Grounded. Back in control. It’s not just an app. it’s a lifeline for anyone trying to move on.

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2025-05-31, version 3.4*

Helpful and hopeful

### 5/5 — Helped me take my power back

*2025-04-30*

I never write reviews, but this app honestly changed everything for me. I was stuck in a cycle of checking my ex’s socials, overthinking, and constantly wanting to reach out. The no contact tracker, the daily check-ins, and the little motivational reminders helped me stay strong. I’m 30+ days no contact now and feel so much more in control of my emotions. This app feels like having a therapist in your pocket during the hardest part of a breakup. Highly recommend to anyone struggling to let go.

**Developer response:** Hi, we are so happy to hear that we could help you and are proud of your progress. If you have any feedback for us to continue to improve, send an email to our support.
