### 5/5 — Great system

*2025-05-13, version 9.009.1*

I’ve been using this app for about a year and the difference is amazing. I highly recommend this system to anyone. Tyler is so easy to follow when he’s talking about music theory, in particular. Definitely give it a go. You won’t regret it.

### 5/5 — A lot of bang for your buck

*2025-04-13*

Tyler is born to teach. Im a self taught Tab player. I’m 45 and I’ve reached a point in my life where I feel stuck as I was never taught to read music or really pursued theory. Tyler makes it very digestible and easy to take my time and really wrap my head around the lessons. The videos are broken down into small chunks, so you can either do a full hour or two of lessons or just do a quick 10 or 20 min session. Very cool! Thank you Tyler, I’m grateful for the Guitar Super System and your passion for teaching. Do yourselves a favor and buy this today.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-03-27*

Very detailed, lots of information at my fingertips. Some of the theory stuff is a bit hard to understand if you haven’t done much before but once you watch a decent amount of videos it makes sense. Heaps of concepts such as sweep picking, bending, vibrato, ect. Overall really great.

### 5/5 — Great learning platform.

*2025-03-06, version 8.801.1*

I’ve watched Tyler’s YouTube channel for a while and I love this guitar platform he’s put together to help aspiring player like me to get better and better with step by step lessons.

### 5/5 — Everything guitar in one place.

*2025-02-14*

While I am no rock star, I feel like any information or instruction you need to be as proficient as you want to be on the guitar is in this app. Everything from music theory to different playing styles is covered in this app for the price of one private lesson. You learn from someone who is passionate about playing the guitar and passionate about teaching people the guitar and music in general.

### 5/5 — A great platform

*2025-01-27, version 8.801.1*

A lot of great information here. Great for beginners but also a solid resource for intermediate and advanced players

### 5/5 — It’s like a older brother.

*2025-01-19, version 8.801.1*

Guitar super system is such a awesome tool and guide, taught by such a cool dude. It like being taught by an older brother or something. I’m happy this became an app.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-01-17, version 8.801.1*

Tyler Larson most definitely knows his music and theory, however, I will also add that he has an amazing ability explain the information in a dynamic easy to understand method.

### 5/5 — GUITARS

*2024-12-11, version 8.801.1*

I LOVE GUITAR

### 5/5 — 10$ is nothing at the gas station

*2024-10-20*

Def worth it, alway been a cowboy chord dabbler.
This has upped my game. Instead of doom scrolling on your phone you can doom scroll his videos with a guitar in your hands. Next thing you know it’s a year later and you got some serious chops!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2024-08-25*

Im usually skeptical about youtubers selling their courses but man this is brilliant. He’s really put his heart and soul into it and it shows. Im addicted to watching stuff on here.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Not the best for beginners

*2025-12-23, version 9.304.1*

I came across this app in the App Store. I soon recognized the instructor as the Tyler Larson from the YouTube channel music is win. The app isn’t organized or structured so finding where exactly to start might be confusing to some. I did find the beginners corner. Which the lessons were kind of all over the place and felt incomplete.

### 2/5 — Suggestion

*2022-10-08, version 7.620.1*

I’m trying to get better at guitar and I can’t do anything on this app, free limited version would be great for us younger guitarists.

### 4/5 — Very good

*2024-05-08*

It s good for at least intermediate players.
The music theory part is very dense, it would benefit from exercises and learning tips (ex: intervals, scales, patterns and triads…). It’s a down to the user to find ways to get familiar with them, to remember them and use them. Not sure everyone can do that

### 4/5 — Mac version?

*2024-03-03, version 8.404.1*

I like the app but wish I could use on Mac

### 4/5 — Great app but

*2023-11-11*

Remember to make an account or else your subscription won’t work but even if you make an account after you subscribe it still works!

### 4/5 — Pretty useful tool

*2023-04-06*

I’m far from a beginner. Although, nor am I an expert. However this app offers such a vast verity of playing styles and techniques that ever the pros would probably find interesting to explore. Easy to watch, easy to listen and pdf tabs are available to download.

### 4/5 — Guitar super system

*2022-08-14*

Saw a video of Eric Johnson playing Cliffs of Dover(so inspirational🫠), so decided to step up my game and start practicing guitar seriously sense I spend hours noodling on my guitar for last few months.

So I used my favourite guitar channels course(Taylor’s!!), which was lucky super affordable and easy to use.

However my only problem so far is getting support to create a practice schedule that meets my goals or at lest support from community to correct my technique or provide any feedback. Let me know if that’s available!!!

### 4/5 — Enjoying it so far

*2022-06-28, version 7.601.1*

The lessons are very fast pace for beginners but you pick it up pretty quickly

### 4/5 — 4 stars because I just started using the app today

*2022-06-23, version 7.601.1*

I love it. It’s like Netflix but useful and the videos are equally as entertaining as any tv show to me. I’ve learned so much already and hope to keep learning more. Thank you Tyler for putting in all of the hard work to make this app GREAT!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-01-17, version 9.304.1*

I’m so happy that this is now in app form. This a great learning tool for guitar from beginner to advanced! You won’t be disappointed!

### 5/5 — Great guitar learning program

*2025-10-09, version 9.100.1*

This is a great platform to learn. I have been 2 years with it and have learned allot.
Tyler you need to add an entire section just dedicated to licks, finding players that can insert tricks in licks the way you do is not easy. Cheers!

### 5/5 — 😁

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-06-04, version 9.100.1*

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-05-15, version 9.009.1*

Tyler is awesome! Started playing guitar when I was 11 but took a break for way longer than I should have. Almost 40 now and started playing again three years ago and forgot alot. Decided to try this after following his YouTube channel for a long time and this is the best content for online lessons.

### 5/5 — Tyler’s the best

*2025-05-13, version 9.009.1*

I’ve watched music is win forever. You’ve taught me so much about playing and music history. I live close to Nashville. Would he awsome to come jam one day
