## What is No Reel For Instagram?

No Reel is a Safari extension for instagram.com on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It hides Reels navigation, Reels in Search and Explore, Stories, the Search / Explore shortcut, the “For You” feed tab, and suggested accounts. It does not modify the Instagram app.

Choose exactly what to hide from the extension button in Safari. Your choices are applied locally in the browser, with no separate app account, analytics, or advertising.

Setup:
1. Install No Reel For Instagram.
2. Enable the extension in Safari Settings and allow instagram.com.
3. Open instagram.com, then choose your filters from Safari’s extension button.

Guillaume, I appreciate the apps you develop that help combat the annoyances of social media platforms (I’ve been a longtime user of shorts blocker as well) but this App description is misleading. You should make it clear that it is for the instagram website, and not the instagram app.
If you can’t be forthcoming about this, how do I know you’re not forthcoming about other things, like data privacy? I’ve had to remove both apps.

Thank you for your comment.
I will update the descriptions and screenshots to make it more clear that this is a Safari extension. As a developer I was biased and thought the preview video and screenshots with Safari search bar was enough.

As for data privacy, those extension are open source and you will find their code on GitHub. Also, as an independent developer, I have no interest in collecting private data.

Ça n’est pas du tout une application qui enlève les reels mais juste un page qui explique comment le faire sur safari et faire une extension.
Autant demander à une ia.

Il s'agit bien d'une extension safari (développée !) pour masquer les réels / autres distractions et avoir un flux chronologique sur la version web d'Instagram.
En effet, il n'est pas possible d'interférer directement sur l'application Instagram, donc le mieux pour réduire son temps d'écran est de la désinstaller et de passer sur la version web avec cette extension, ainsi qu'une application (comme Beeper) pour la partie messagerie.

Купил приложение после использования Noshorts от этого же разработчика. То приложение понравилось, тк все короткие видео на ютубе пропали.
В инстаграмме же более негативный опыт. Хоть значок шортос и пропадает с панели, но в ленте всё так же остаются рекомендации (которые являются рилсами) и при нажатии на них можно спокойно провалиться обратно в раздел к рилсам. В общем, хотелось бы увидеть более доработанный вариант без рекомендаций в ленте и тогда оценка изменится

Хотела заблокировать только функцию просмотра рилс, чтобы не тратить на них время. В итоге: расширение не работает в приложении, только на сайте. Блокируются рилсы, сторисы, директ странно отображается. Вообщем задумка хорошая, но приложение не доработано.
