However, on YouTube application itself the shorts are still there. Nobody really watched YouTube on safari, we all watch it by app… **Developer response:** Thanks a lot for your honest feedback and for giving No Shorts a try. You’re absolutely right: the app can only filter Shorts when YouTube is used in Safari, and it doesn’t work inside the official YouTube app itself. I know most people prefer using the YouTube app, and I understand how limiting this feels. Unfortunately, technical restrictions from YouTube and iOS make it impossible right now to block Shorts directly inside the YouTube app in a reliable and safe way. That said, I’m always looking for workarounds and improvements, and your feedback really helps me prioritize what to explore next. If you have any ideas or want to share more about how you use YouTube, feel free to reach out through the support section in the app. I will try to make it even more explicit within the App Store page that this is a Safari extension only. Extension is turned on and activated in Safari. Has no effect in YouTube. Acceptable if you weren’t charging money for software: completely unacceptable for an app that is. Will be refunding. **Developer response:** Edit: The fix is live ! Hello, I’m very sorry for this issue. I completely agree with the quality expectation related with a paid app. As such, a button to contact me directly to my email shows up inside the extension popup within safari, to be able to fix this kind of issue as quick as possible. An update will be available later today (currently waiting for Apple review) to fix this issue. Sadly when YouTube updates it layouts, it requires a few days for me to update the app, and Apple to approve it. Hopefully you may reconsider you review by then !
