## What is No Spend?

FrugalStreak counts the days you get through without an impulse buy. That is the whole app.

Tap the Home Screen widget on a day you did not spend and the number goes up. FrugalStreak never has to open. There is no budget to build and no bank account to connect.

WHY A STREAK

A budget asks you to plan every category of your spending, and most people abandon that in the second week. A no-spend challenge asks one question instead: did you get through today without buying something you did not need? A streak is what makes the answer worth protecting.

YOU DECIDE WHAT COUNTS

During setup you write a single line describing your own rule. Most people exclude rent, bills and the weekly food shop, then count everything discretionary. FrugalStreak shows that line back to you rather than judging it. Nothing is categorised and nothing is scored, so there is no argument with yourself at 9pm about whether a coffee broke the rule.

BEING HONEST COSTS YOU NOTHING

Tap "I spent today" and the current streak goes back to zero. Your best-ever run is kept and stays on screen, and any badge you have earned stays earned. An app that punished you for telling the truth would only teach you to lie to it.

NO ACCOUNT AND NO BANK CONNECTION

There is no sign-up and nothing to log in to. Your streak lives on your iPhone and the app works with the network switched off. FrugalStreak cannot link to a bank, import transactions or read anything about your actual finances. Its only input is you deciding whether today was a no-spend day.

FRUGALSTREAK UNLOCKED

One optional purchase adds your full streak archive, which is every run you have finished with its length and its dates, plus custom widget colours. You buy it once and nothing renews. Logging, the streak count, the heatmap and the badges all stay free.
