Does not have hourly weather more than 12 hours. I like the Apple Weather app fine except it has been wrong on temp and rain several times so was looking for a NOAA app. Wish this app was like Apple app but based on NOAA ### 2/5 — Weather forecast will no longer load. *2024-09-12, version 8.0* I’ve used this app for years, but at some point in the last year, the “Active Watch and Warnings” page won’t load. So I’m only using this app for the radar info….then having to go to the NOAA website to get to Active Watches and Warning info. WHY? ### 2/5 — Almost unusable *2023-07-12, version 7.2* Have had this app for years over different phones and the last several updates had made it almost unusable. I can still see some radars, and I can look at the SPC info but my favorites no longer load weather data or alerts. Haven’t for a long time now. Over the last few months, these notifications have stopped working - no badge, no banner, no sound. Emails to the developer have not been answered. Enjoy having the radar maps available. So appreciate the weather alert feature as I live in the country without sirens nearby. Simple and straight forward. The update is difficult to use and understand. I agree with Booth3 review. Change is not always better. ### 1/5 — HATE the new look *2026-08-07, version 9.1* I used to love this app but now I hate it. I used to be able to pick a state and go to a radar site of my choosing. Now it’s some ugly radar on a satellite map and I can’t even figure out how to put the radar in motion. PLEASE change it back. If I could give it no stars I would. Here is my previous review just so you know I’m not a malcontent: I'm a meteorologist and think this is a fantastic app! I use it daily, usually as soon as I get up in the morning. It's a great app that can be used to "nowcast" or get a sense of what's happening out there right now. Ultimately this helps me begin putting together my forecast for the day. If you're a casual fan of mother nature or even someone who makes a living at it this is a great addition & well worth the money. ### 1/5 — Never has worked *2024-01-31, version 8.0* I bought the app and it never loaded. It no longer serves any purpose ### 1/5 — Don’t work anymore *2019-12-05, version 7.1* Use to love this app, it would send alerts when bad weather in my area, but here recently it stopped on my iPhone and I’ve messaged support for help and haven’t ever got any replies. ### 1/5 — Used to work. Proved unreliable today in a tornado. *2019-09-12, version 6.6.3* I downloaded this mainly for the ability to receive alerts when severe weather pops up in my area. For a couple years, it worked just fine. Radar image quality isn’t great, but the alerts were reliable. Today a tornado warning was issued in my area. Not a peep from the app. I had to launch the app and then click on my County to read the warning. The warning expired at 7:45 PM... it’s 9:59 PM and the tornado warning is still showing in the app. There’s a new Severe Thunderstorm warning that’s been issued for my area which this app didn’t notify me about and doesn’t even show in the app. I can no longer rely on this app to alert me to dangerous weather. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money. *2019-04-27, version 6.6.3* The paid version worked well at one time, but now no longer updates. I used the “email us” through the app and sent at least 4 emails to their support, including screen shots, with NO RESPONSE. I also emailed crushedboxsoftware.com, included screenshots, again NO RESPONSE. It’s obvious all they want is your money. I am now going to contact Apple and hope that they pull this app from their App Store until the Developer responds to customer issues, and takes the steps necessary to fix the issue with their paid app. ### 1/5 — NOT AN OFFICIAL NOAA WEBSITE *2017-09-10, version 6.6.3* This is "false" advertisement as I've already informed them. Website developer is CrushBox Software. Apple open your eyes and go through all the weather websites that contain NOAA. This is not legit. ### 1/5 — Poorly done! *2016-10-30, version 5.0* It needs more work. Specially when it comes to the radar image. The quality of the image is extremely poor compared to other apps such as Intellicast, NOAA Hi-Def Radar Pro and many others. Which show a detail google map with good quality image. Some even show you with a dot where you are on the map and you can zoom in. And you can select to view it as a still image or loop video that you can pause at any time. Others apps also show you past and future radar images/video. And their satellite image is not a little window at the top right hand corner of the screen. They really need to go back to the drawing board with this one. ### 1/5 — Redirects *2016-06-26, version 5.0* Redirects to wunderground, so when wunderground is down this app provides little to no value.
