## What is Nocton Hill?

Nocton Hill is a horror text adventure with 19 different endings.

You receive messages from a stranger asking for help. The stranger tells you that he woke up in an unfamiliar place. He doesn't know how he got there. Suffering from a terrible pain in his head, he vaguely recalls that someone just tried to strangle him. White walls, bars on the windows, rooms with numbers on the doors… welcome to Nocton Hill Asylum.

An unlit corridor lies ahead – should he go left or right? Your advice will affect how the story unfolds and give you the chance to reach 19 different endings, each revealing more of Robert Houston's story. And you might just learn something about yourself along the way.

• Richly crafted storyline. You'll need all your wits to untangle the insane web of this stranger's nightmares. We promise this story will shock you to your core.

• Lively, flexible dialogue. You don't just get a choice of two responses, like you might expect in this genre. You can have three, five or even 10 different actions to choose from – as many as you could want.

• Real-time dialogue mode. Most of the time, you won't have to make decisions against the clock, but in moments of peril, dialogue happens in real-time: if you put your phone down, Robert will think you're ignoring him and he'll be forced to make the decision on his own.

• Immersive soundscape. We've composed 20 minutes of music for the game, a soundtrack that's mysterious, strange, unnerving and sometimes downright terrifying. At certain points, dark techno music will add momentum to the unfolding horror. :)

Help Robert escape this nightmare!

### 1/5 — Please update

*2021-04-29*

Game force closes every time I click files. I’ve never been able to view the files I’ve been sent.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Please write to upeugene@gmail.com with details

### 4/5 — It’s great but I hate having to wait for him to go online

It’s great but I hate having to wait for him to go online

### 3/5 — Lacking One Thing

*2020-11-02*

This story was good. I just don't have the patience to go back to the very beginning. It's a shame. I'd like to go back and get every ending, but it'll take too much time. I hate to compare it to another similarly done game, but you should take a look at the Lifeline series. They'll let you go back to ANY previous choice, rather than just the most recent important one (which in your game's case can still be a dead end) or the very beginning. Please think about making that possible. It would improve this game immensely and I would probably come back to get every ending.

**Developer response:** We made this possible in the next update which comes very soon! Thank you for you feedback!

### 2/5 — To slow

*2020-10-18*

I got bored at the beginning Becoz the typing is to slow an u can’t click on the chat to make it quicker

### 4/5 — It’s really good

*2020-06-03*

I really like the game it’s spooky but not too scary which is nice. It’s satisfying when you try something new after multiple play throughs and find out it unlocks a new ending and gets you out of that endless loops of dead end endings.

There one thing I would change or consider you change is the fact that when u press start over it doesn’t come up with a “are your sure?” Because I accidentally pressed it and was shocked that I lost all my progress so I rage quick then deleted the app.

Besides this I really like the game and the story behind it. I found myself consistently keeping track of characters and who was who. I’m not really a theorist but this game just made it so easy to get deep within the story and it’s so much fun to find something new. I would recommend this game to a friend for sure.

Btw this is my first time writing a review so I’m sorry if I did something wrong.

### 2/5 — I just don’t get it

*2020-05-18*

It seems no matter what I choose (even with hints) I end up being killed by the fake doctor. How can I only be reaching 4% of the game? The fast forward setting isn’t fast enough for the repetitive dialogue.
Maybe I’m missing something, but this is the only game I have been playing all week, and I have had TIME.
Go left or right, Robert is obsessed with Dr. Williams! Run! Don’t run! Ask him! Tell him! Always “IM GOING TO FOLLOW HIM”

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for review.
We know that the first part of the game is complicated, probably too complicated. Try to follow hints and you’ll get over it!

### 3/5 — good but...

*2020-05-12*

I hate waiting for him to go online

### 1/5 — It was good then 🤦‍♀️

*2019-11-04, version 1.3.4*

It was just getting good and then free trial 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😡😡 I just wanted to play

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, we removed subscription. No free trial anymore.

### 1/5 — It was good at FIRST

*2019-09-22*

UMM EXCUSE ME BO?!?! I want to play this texting game BUT NO!! I NEED THIS TRIAL!!! LIKE SWEETIE NO JUST NO LET ME DO MY THING!!! Baby cakes as long as I can play I’m fine BUT SINCE I CANNOT CONTINUE I AM DYING TO KNOW WHATS NEXT!!! THIS GAME IS CANCELED sorry but I just felt like saying that!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, we removed subscription. No free trial anymore.

### 2/5 — not so fun

*2019-07-16*

I’ve tried almost all the options and I always get killed no matter what I do

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that, we are working on adding hints.
For this time try not to trust doctor 👨‍⚕️ and everything will be fine.
