## What is Nod?

Nod plays sleep sounds that never repeat. Rain, ocean waves, a fan, brown noise and 52 more are made live on your iPhone, so there is no loop to notice at 3 a.m. and nothing to download. Mix them, set a timer that fades out slowly, and wake up to singing bowls instead of a siren. No account, no ads, no tracking.

SOUNDS THAT NEVER LOOP
• 56 sounds generated in real time: white, pink, brown, green and grey noise, rain, heavy rain and distant thunder, rain on a roof, a tent or a window, ocean waves and a calm sea, a stream, a river, a waterfall, wind, rustling leaves, a campfire and a fireplace, crickets, cicadas, frogs, birds, an owl, a purring cat, a box fan, an air conditioner, an airplane cabin, a night train, a car ride, a dryer, a hair dryer, a vacuum, a clock, a heartbeat, womb sounds, a gentle "shh" and a music box lullaby for babies, singing bowls, wind chimes and slow ambient pads
• Mix up to 8 sounds with a volume for each, and save your mixes
• 20 ready-made mixes: Rainy Night, Ocean Shore, Brown Noise, Box Fan, Cabin in the Rain, Night Train and more
• Binaural beats for headphones
• Plays all night with the screen locked, or over your podcast if you like

SLEEP TIMER AND GENTLE ALARM
• A sleep timer that fades the sound out slowly over its last minutes, shown on the Lock Screen
• A wake-up alarm with singing bowls, birdsong, wind chimes or a slow sunrise; on iOS 26 it rings even in Silent mode and during Focus
• Sounds still playing fade away in the minute before the alarm

BREATHE AND UNWIND
• Quick Calm: two minutes of slow sighs, one tap away
• Relax (4-6), Coherent Breathing (5.5-5.5), Box Breathing (4-4-4-4), 4-7-8, Cyclic Sighing and Wind Down (4-8)
• A soft sphere fills and empties with your breath; follow it, or close your eyes and follow the sound
• A meditation timer with bells, and short naps that wake you with bowls
• Streaks and mindful minutes; works with Apple Health: saves your breathing and meditation time as Mindful Minutes

ONE TAP FROM ANYWHERE
• Siri: "Play Rainy Night in Nod", "Set a sleep timer in Nod"
• A Control Center button and a widget start your sounds without opening the app
• iPhone and iPad
