In my case I created the Allmon2 directory with the capital A so the app could not find it. I created /var/www/html/allmon2/ and linked the astdb.txt file from the Allmon2 directory. This is the only thing that there is in this recently created directory. Problem solved. Developer lost 1 star because he never replied to my question, which was: where is the app looking for this astdb.txt file? 73, KD2PWR ### 4/5 — Looks good *2022-06-23* App looks good but would be nice to have more than one page of presets. ### 4/5 — Not a Transceiver *2020-10-08* This software works, but be aware that you can not receive or transmit with it. ### 5/5 — Works perfectly. *2018-10-14* Configure manager.conf as described and forward the port (5038, unless you changed it) and you can access your node over LTE also. It is easy to change nodes and allows you to put all your favorite nets,hubs and nodes on the buttons. Matt did a great job and was always available when I needed assistance. 73. There are no menus appearing at the bottom as is shown in a YouTube video. ### 1/5 — Not usable… *2023-12-04* Found it, bought it, paid for it, installed it, and can’t get it to register, can’t find a way to modify the node info once one presses “done” and can’t find a way to remove the node… and worse, can’t get a refund issued for an apt that doesn’t appear to work from start. It won’t display the astdb.txt file for a host list of who your connected to. Also on when connected to a ASL node, it won’t display a red tx when the node is keyed up, it does however on the Hamvoip side. Would like to see it be more comparable with the ASL version. Matt is a gentleman, very knowledgeable and is always available to help. ### 5/5 — Works with ASL3 *2024-08-09* Great app to control your AllStarNode. In version 3 you need to add a firewall exception. Add astmgr service in the firewall settings to open port 5038. ### 5/5 — Request *2024-05-29* Love the app as it does what I need it to. One request would be to have multiple pages for additional connection options. There are many nodes and hubs I’d like to be able to quickly access. Other than that, great work!!! ### 5/5 — Excellent App *2023-12-11* This app works great with my SHARI node. It is much more convenient than using DTMF. You will need to access the file system of your node and make a couple changes, so If you’re not comfortable editing the files, get a friend to help. The author (Matt) was very helpful in resolving an issue with the Hubs configuration. ### 5/5 — A Great Utility for AllStar *2023-02-02* My Linux skills are pretty rusty these days so it took a little studying to get me to the items I needed to add and change in manager.conf. Once I did that in Asterisk it connected immediately. Saves on a lot of dtmf button pushing ! ### 5/5 — Cool, and fix for astdb.txt not found *2022-02-13* Well this is a mighty useful little app! Worth a donation for sure. For those hitting the issue where the app can't find astdb.txt, the app expects it to be in /var/www/html/allmon2 ... best to link it with "ln -s /var/log/asterisk/astdb.txt /var/www/html/allmon2/astdb.txt ### 5/5 — Got the support needed to make it work *2021-11-25* Ok so when you have set all the lines of code you need to set in the Manager.conf file you must go into PUTTY & restart the asterisk server or you will never connect the app to your node.
