I don’t think it’s more than 10 mins before they pop up. ### 2/5 — The freaking ads are ridiculous *2026-07-30, version 1.7.4* So i get we need ads to keep the app free, but having a freaking ad pop up in the middle of a book is absolutely insane and annoying! Keep the ads but at least make it where they show up at the start of a chapter instead of in the middle randomly. I couldn’t even get through one chapter before another ad popped up. I understand having ads to support a free app. But these ads are long and appear every minute. Now I know you’re thinking, This must be hyperbolic. I TELL NO LIES. EVERY MINUTE THERE IS A LONG AD. It is beyond unreal. And because I don’t like the ads I see, I come to resent them. I think I’d prefer an option to just watch x amount of ads at a time for like 30 uninterrupted reading minutes. No subscription fees to read. Unfortunately be prepared to watch A LOT of ads. Edit to add: after using the App more - four of the stories I have recently read are unfinished. It doesn’t look like they will ever be on here. ### 4/5 — Free reading app *2025-12-25* Honestly I don’t mind the ads. The only thing is not being able to see how many chapters in the novel. Whether the ads are worth the time. For short novels it’s okay. Luckily that’s all I have read. Please find a way to show the number of chapters per novel. **Developer response:** Hi! I have no issue with watching ads to read for free, I prefer the apps that let you but please do it in between chapters!
