I’m not a pro or anywhere near it. I just like trying to create beats and such. This app is very well made. Importing my own sounds is the main feature I love about this app, however there is an issue: I can't figure out how to get the larger screen to appear so that I can see what I'm doing. It used to appear, but now seems to only show the tiny screen. It's much too small for my fingers to press the right functions and cannot read the extra tiny print on those functions. The MIDI implementation is straight forward and useful. Easy. I would like to see CC control of the otherwise very nice effects. I don't know these error reports go to but I hope they actually check. ### 3/5 — Excellent For Triggering Your Own Samples *2013-08-31, version 2.2* I love how easy it is to upload one's own samples, assign them to pads and external hardware controller, and sequence them. Audiobus support too! Weaknesses: user loaded sample management is practically non-existent, would be greatly helped by supporting a folder structure, or multiple packs. Imagine navigating hundreds of samples in a flat list -- painful! Also, the sequencer doesn't save the tempo with a given sequence, so it's basically designed for single song only. You have to remember the bpm of each sequence. Great sounds. Easy to use. But after it auto updated today it stopped working (iPhone 6s iOS 10). I can't add my own samples without downloading them from iTunes. Nice implementation, not very useful to me as it stands. Rude sample sounds are totally unnecessary. Needs to mature a bit. ### 2/5 — it worked pretty well, but now it doesn't *2019-12-28, version 2.4.4* iused this app for a couple of years with my old ipad and my OsX mac, and it worked really well. then i upgraded to the latest ipad, and a much more recent computer, it lost all of my saved sound banks, and i can't get it to work at all: itunes keeps demanding that i login to my itunes account (it never did that before), and itunes won't recognise my ipad without BOTH of them logged into the same itunes account... and, while i HAVE an itunes account, i don't use itunes for ANYTHING other than loading samples into noisepad... and i can't get audiopaste to work... i gave it two stars because it USED TO work... at this point, if it weren't for that, i'd give it one star, and it doesn't even deserve that. ### 2/5 — Export crashes *2014-07-11, version 2.3.3* In seq mode, any attempt to export the sequence to AudioCopy crashes the app. Until they fix that, fun toy. ### 3/5 — Pretty good but.... *2016-09-14, version 2.4.1* Seems like a good app but I can't figure out how to make a song a already made delete! When I click play and I want to make a new song, my old one starts playing !! Sometimes it's nice to just make a decent beat without all the insane complexity available in other apps. Open it, play it. Sounds good and you can record/import your own samples.
