### 3/5 — Eh,ok

*2025-07-24*

So the reason why I say ok is bc whenever I save it it’s not saved and it restarts all over again and I wish there was more sound effects and also whenever we read it always says the wrong word when we read and no offense but like it’s cool but there stuff that I don’t like bc what I said and I really really like is that they are blocking bad words so that’s good but overall it’s a good app but there is stuff you need to fix

### 4/5 — Ok but can be better

*2024-09-11*

I give it a four because at keeps making the same noise over and over and over aging at it’s gets really annoying when it’s does it for a while.

### 4/5 — Ok noisy book

*2024-04-04*

Noisy book is pretty awesome but it doesn’t pick up the right words

### 4/5 — Good app

*2023-11-23*

I wish there were more sound effects.
But overall it’s a great app😊

### 4/5 — ITS FUN

*2023-07-18, version 1.10*

I like how there is a sound when you don’t expect it and you don’t know what sound it will be

### 5/5 — Impressive app!

*2019-10-18*

I’m very impressed with this app! It has done a fabulous job transcribing the stories I have read. I’m looking forward to using this with students to make their writing come alive ;)

### 2/5 — Didn’t have option for in app purchases

*2019-10-16, version 1.0*

How do I buy the in app purchase because I have scoured this app and App Store and no option was available!

### 2/5 — Not for northerners.

*2019-10-16, version 1.0*

I’m reading a normal book to the app to try it out. Unfortunately due to my Northern accent a lot of the words are being misheard and misunderstood.

It’s a fab idea but not great in practice.

### 5/5 — Such a nice app

*2019-10-16, version 1.0*

I really love the whimsical feel of this app. My Daughter (4) is addicted to it and has really encouraged her to be develop her made up storytelling (which she loved already).

Great work!

### 5/5 — Amazing app and staff

*2019-10-15, version 1.0*

I love this app and yes I have read stories out loud to myself now just for the sound effects haha! My nieces and I had so much fun and the customer service guys were brilliant when I reported an issue! 5 stars all round and worth the 99p to save your stories too. Nikki

### 1/5 — Bad

*2025-12-06*

They barely even make no effect when I was reading it didn’t say like background noise for the one if you give a mouse a cookie I gave this one card because it is not a good app for you guys to use

### 1/5 — Not that good

*2025-03-03*

It did not make one sound

### 1/5 — This doesn’t make any noises

*2024-09-21*

I tried it and I didn’t hear anything it is a bad app

### 1/5 — Can’t figure out

*2022-03-29*

I have the free version. It does not seem to work. I have saved one story. I select ‘reload’ and I see the title, but no matter how hard I try or what I push, nothing happens. It does not read it to me, I cannot read it. Can’t figure out what is supposed to happen. Why would I spend more money on this app? Great idea, bad product.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with Bluetooth

*2022-03-17*

The app crashes any time I connect to a Bluetooth speaker making it useless for classroom use. I hope it gets fixed. iPhones just can’t be loud enough in a classroom without an external speaker.

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for alerting us to this issue. We will get it fixed for you soon. Maybe try emailing us next time because leaving a 1 star review is not helpful

### 1/5 — Security issues

*2021-07-17, version 1.6*

This app was great, my kids loved it. We had not used it for a while and decided to use yesterday. Random ‘i love you’ kept appearing. I ignored it but then words like ‘lets meet’ ‘i want to play with you’ ‘i want to see you’ etc appeared on screen. We were reading the three little pigs. At the same time the app went slow and more and more disgusting phrases started coming through. When my husband started to talk, the writings disappeared! Some serious security issues.

### 1/5 — 3 pages behind all the time

*2021-04-16, version 1.6*

No good - the words are not what I’m reading and the sounds are 3 pages behind as it is trying to catch up. I can’t read any slower than I am doing!

### 1/5 — Not working on iPad Air 2

*2020-07-19, version 1.6*

It didn’t work even when I turned on the advanced setting.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-01-07, version 1.3*

I didn’t know how to use it is disgraceful app and very confusing

### 2/5 — Really just basic

*2019-10-18*

This has super basic sounds if you want to tell a story on a farm with a rooster or dog or car. It reminded me of one of those old kids toys where you pull a string and the arrow landed on a farm animal and it played that sound.
No vacuum, glass shattering, gunshots, farts, or screams that would make that app hilarious and awesome. More mouth sounds like gulps and yawns and sighs would be great.

### 5/5 — I put only five star so people could read this, but I have a big problem And some ideas

*2026-01-17*

We have one problem here one every time I use VoiceOver on this app it sounds so weird like there's a big microphone and I want to add voices laughing and other sound effects music and games on it so we can actually have more variety. It's just making stories and then doing nothing with them. What's the point just make it and do nothing why don't you have a little competition like a friend game like noisy book game maps where you make a story see who makes the best one and whoever wins gets more points to the noisy book leader boards, which that would be awesome

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-09-16*

I love this app I just would like it if you mad a little bit more sound effects for when you don’t need sound effects like music in the background but I like that your app if completely free so I would really recommend this app a lot!!!

### 5/5 — They need more stuff

*2024-11-07*

More words that they can react to suggest the lunchroom they should make noisy lunchroom sounds or let’s say an airplane they should make airplane sounds or an animal roaring .

### 5/5 — Kids loved it

*2022-12-06*

We did this for read aloud and my 3rd graders went nuts!

### 5/5 — Let your imagination run wild

*2020-10-19, version 1.6*

Brilliant story book and parents and grandparents are going to love making up stories and have them come to life!

### 5/5 — It works! Very fun

*2020-09-26*

Totally works, fun for your own story. 4 year old and adults delighted.

### 5/5 — 10 stories high!

*2020-03-05, version 1.5*

Loving this for nephews, nieces and all little people who come a calling. It’s like magic unfolds before their very amazed little eyes and works a treat for getting them to feel confidence, chatty and happy. The visuals and the sound effects are just lovely. Brilliant! Recommending to everyone - young, old and inbetween!

### 5/5 — Incredibly fun

*2020-01-30, version 1.4*

I tried this app while reading to my little cousin and he absolutely loved it. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great fun

*2019-12-18, version 1.3*

My daughter is blind and has learning difficulties. She likes books with noisy buttons, but they are difficult to take when we go away. This app brings other books to life in a similar way without having to pack lots of big bulky books. I can just read to her from my Kindle. We love it at home too! Sometimes the noises it does don’t really fit or it doesn’t do a noise where you think it would, but that’s a minor thing. I’ve got the hang of putting in extra words to get it to make a noise where I want it to. For instance, when reading Thomas Tank Engine books, say ‘train’ or ‘helicopter’ at appropriate times and you get the sound, even though the word might not be in the story. The only sound I can’t understand, so far, is ‘born’. It sounds like a roar, although the screen types the correct word! So baby Jesus is being roared into the world this Christmas!! Thank you, thank you, to the developers of this fantastic app. I’m spreading the word!!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2019-12-03, version 1.2*

Makes story time with my little boy come to life!
