Story, rythm game and bullet hells are all things I enjoy, but I tend to get bored of repeating the same things. I’ve been enjoying the pace of this game even if, as stated by some other review, it can take a while to get your level ups. It’s not THAT (multiple weeks!?) bad of course. It’s just that with the ability to play with no coinz now, you can kind of screw yourself out of exp. Which is the reason I’m docking a star. Since getting a higher 'tp’ is so important to getting exp, you really don’t wanna do your first clears on x0 coinz. THEN grinding levels can be a little painful. I kind of played this game while on transit though and didn’t have data back then so I kind of struggle to keep the power of my styles matching the difficulty of the songs I should be playing for optimal exp. I enjoy some slow things at time though. Makes it more rewarding, harder to burn out too. Just use practice mode instead of 0 coinz to well, practice, and you’ll be good. Very fun game still. Oh and it’s a different kind of hard than other rythm games. Could pose some skill issue but I got used to it all right. ### 2/5 — Puts the Hell in Bullet Hell *2024-03-17* So first things first, the good things gave this two stars. I love the gang so much, and Hakuno’s transformation from a shy girl just coming out as trans into the confident playful girl that she is now was just beautifully done. And the music was EPIC!!! But now here’s the hard part. The game mode was kinda gruelling, because the rhythm aspect was hard, and so was the Bullet Hell part. And this was just on easy mode. I can say that I cried multiple times while playing this game. Also, can we talk about the chapter progression? You have to level up your characters to unlock the next level, which would be fine, IF THE GAME WASN’T SO DANG HARD!!! Just to level up a single character takes a few weeks, now times that by three, but then have to level Hakuno up to level four!!?? It already took so long to level up Sarah, and I haven’t even gotten to the other two. This is chapter one!!! Good luck to anyone who plays on a white point reduced screen . ### 5/5 — シンプルな音ゲーに飽きた人はぜひ *2023-04-27* 音ゲーと弾幕シューティングが合わさったようなゲームです。 各曲によって、敵が放ってくる弾幕にバリエーションがあり、ノーツをさばきながらの 弾幕避けなので なかなかやりごたえがあります！ 難易度も4つあり、初心者向けの難易度から、特定の条件で出現するオーバーロードという、玄人向けの難易度など。 また課金を迷ってる人がいるなら ぜひやった方がいいです！ 課金して出てくる楽曲は 本編とはまた違った難しさで燃えます🤫 クラブ♣️の課金のあの曲は まるでメイドインワリオを思わせるような 笑 認知度が低いので、もっと色んな人がこのゲームをやって 盛り上がっていって欲しいです😆 ### 4/5 — 音ゲーやってきた人の個人的な感想 *2023-01-03* 課金してスタミナ制を脱した人です。 弾幕ゲーはほとんどやった事ありませんが、これを機に少し触り始めました。 ◯良い点 ・斬新な組み合わせで夢中になれる ・見栄えが良く、全て捌き切った時の爽快感がすごく良い ・ストーリーに伏線がたくさん貼られていて続きがずっと気になる(世界観も現代とちょっと離れてるかな？ぐらい) ◯改善点等、思うところ ・音ゲーのノーツを捌いた時の音ズレ(稀に発生) ・課金しない限りはスタミナを消費しないと楽曲が遊べず、途中で体力が尽きた場合は打ち切られる。(練習モード(体力無限)も課金して解放される。) ・稀にある誤翻訳など(意味は汲み取れる) ◯人によって評価が変わるところ ・ストーリーにおいて、自分のアバターとなる人物の性別が女で固定(名前は自由)。また、百合要素も含まれている。(結構強め？) ・弾幕も自機狙い/外し等それぞれ設定されていたりして、安置があまり生まれないため、気が抜けない ・1曲が結構長め(ほぼフル尺？) ・弾幕を避ける際、押した場所に移動する仕様なため、指で隠れて横からの弾幕が見えなかったりする。(タッチしたところからXピクセル上など、ポインタを調整出来るようになって欲しい) ・音ゲーのノーツを捌く場合、ちゃんと捌くボタンを押さないと押したことにならない ・そうそう見破れない初見殺し(見た事ない仕様をいきなりぶち込まれたりする)がある。捌けた時はry 1/3追記 無課金でも広告なしでプレイ可能のアップデートが来たということで、色んな人が手を出しやすくなったと思います。プレイ自体にスタミナが要らなくなったっぽいので… ### 3/5 — Game review and suggestions *2022-12-17, version 1.604* The length of song is too long, it should only between 2 to 3 minutes. If you decide to design the character in anime or cartoon way, you should design the enemy as anime character too. Because most time of the song, play will look at the enemy to dodge those bullet. I dont want to spend like 4 to 5 minutes looking at a robot waving, meanwhile my cute character is under my thumb so i cant see her. The tutorial has the story too long before player can actually play the game. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2022-09-24* The gameplay is really fun and smooth, mixing in a bullet hell into their rhythm game is surprisingly fun, and quite refreshing. The choice of songs is great - they don’t become annoying and don’t get stuck in my head even if I play one of them many times. Controls are so smooth - it’s a pleasure just scrolling through options and navigating menus, and, of course, playing. Difficulty levels are well-adjusted, so as you improve your skills you can still find challenging levels. All-together great game! ### 5/5 — Massive Wall of Text ahead *2022-08-24* NOISZ STARLIVHT... Oh dear there is a lot to say. A Rhythm Danmaku Game (or RDG), just like the original Installment in the NOISZ Series, except this time, the Emphasis goes towards the rhythm gaming instead of the bullet dodging. Does that mean the Bullet Patterns are being left out ? Absolutely not, more than often, we get excellently crafted Pattern Designs to confront while restlessly getting along with the Music. Speaking of which, we got a very wide selection of Genres and Artists that will make you addicted. This is a Game where you have Camellia and you have Princess Sylvysprit, a massive big shot and an obscure indie Composer who started with Touhou Style Music, it's unreal, that mere thought is still crazy to me. What's also crazy is the Story. As marketed, intensely gay, but it's fair to say it is simply intense at all. If you expected the cute Idols to have an uneventful walk in the park on their way to the Stage, you are dead wrong, prepare for anything ! ...But you still get fluffy and warm bonding between the Protagonists, inside or outside the Main Scenario. In lack of a trans-ition, allow me to give praise to the Graphics and Designs. Right off the bat, you are greeted by a pro-looking Music Video serving as the Intro, starring the Idols wearing quite the unconventional Stage Outfits. They also have matching casual Styles, and cherry on the cake, Cosplays ! STARLIVHT is not only showing them off, the indie Artists who drew them are featured as well ! The Character Rigging is fluid and coherent, it was long and annoying but worth dealing with, good job there. The Noise Beasts' Designs are colorful and often exotic. Side note : There is so far more birds than anything else, how curious. Lastly, if you are a Rhythm Gamer, ohohoh you're in for a treat. If you thought you could blast in and destroy anything right away, ow you're the one getting blasted ! I do mean it, you are quite literally underpowered starting off. To solve that, there is some grinding waiting for you, whether you like it or not. But fret not, it is sort of minimal if you are familiar with ridiculously tight timing windows and overloads of Notes. ...Actually scratch that, the Charts are bizarre enough you'll need to learn them still. And this is where the ingame grinding takes all its glory, because while your mind is getting blown from the surprises thrown at you, you are rewarded for playing, instead of simply playing and getting nothing for it. As for newcomers, you can grind and perform better by widening the timing windows through the TEC Stat, which in return will make yourselves more comfortable and naturally improve your rhythm gaming over playtime. And the Notes themselves work like a charm, readable, intuitive, functional, the best you could ask for. To quote a dear Friend : "The first tolerable directional flicks to ever exist in rhythm games" Did I say I love NOISZ ? I think you could tell I do. I would like the option to skip the story, it’s a bit long and can be annoying that some songs are locked behind it when I don’t personally enjoy the story. First: the gameplay is a genius fusion of standard VSRG and bullet hell mechanics and it is all beautifully seamless and incredibly polished. Not only that but the customisation, especially after beating the game is unlike any rhythm game, period. More rhythm games need this kind of customisation and it is a welcome addition to this one. Second: the story is great, all of it is, but my favourite aspect is the characters. Every single character feels more real than any character I have ever seen, not just in rhythm games but media as a whole. It genuinely shocks me how good the writing is. Third, the song list; the definition of quality over quantity. Every song feels memorable and like a worthy pick to the lineup, I can think of every single one just off the top of my head, and no song feels gimped in terms of charting, which leads to my last point. Forth and finally: the charting/level design. Absolutely unmatched in terms of quality not only for their highest difficulties. Every single song has the difficulties culminating, adding more elements as the difficulty increases to create a seamless difficulty curve that I have never seen done this well in a rhythm game. I cannot understate just how impressive this game is; it is entirely free to play with zero required ads, and all of the ads are completely superfluous and unnecessary for the full experience of the game, on top of that experience feeling more fleshed out than modern AAA titles. But there’re gay girls here so i love this game so much ### 5/5 — これはゲームであっても『ただの音ゲー』ではない… *2024-10-23* 他の方も書いている通り『弾幕＋音ゲー』の高難易度リズムゲームです。 曲もよく、難易度Hardまでは二本指でクリア可能といった初心者(玄人)向けの手応えがあり、 譜面も元大御所スマホ音ゲーの開発が作っているため遊んでいて楽しいと素晴らしいバランスで構成されています。 (タップズレが激しいので、変更は必須です) …ここまでは普通の音ゲーですが、このゲームは弾幕避けとステージギミックとして存在する【音ゲーでも避けゲーでもない】存在をリズムゲーしながら対処するという所業を求められます。 そのせいで初見フルコンは譜面は簡単なのにキツイ…なんてことも。 (曲はいいのです。しかし、瞬間的に対応をしないといけないのです。リズム＋避けゲームしながら…それが楽しくなるんですけどね。) 以上のことがあるので、カジュアル音ゲーしか遊んだことない人にはかなり難しく、途中で投げ出すかもしれません。 しかし、クリアした時の達成感は相応のものになるので、 是非挑戦してみてください！ ※このゲームにはストーリーがついていますが、前作無料ノベルゲーの『2ECONDS＋』を遊んでいるとさらに楽しめます！(あと、おまけがもらえます) ### 5/5 — what *2024-10-18* what the cat :3 ### 5/5 — 普通の音ゲーに飽きたらやって損はない *2024-10-14* 慣れるまでが難しいけど慣れたら新しい刺激になると思います スタミナは0でもできます 音ズレはちゃんと設定したら起きません 新曲解放するのにちょっと時間かかるけど今のところ楽しいです ### 5/5 — 難しい音ゲーと、素敵なストーリー *2024-01-23* かめりあさんの書き下ろし曲「Livht MyWay」に惹かれてインストールしました。まだ始めて一週間ほどしか経っていないのですが、すごく楽しいゲームで、これからも続けたいと思います。 リズムゲームとストーリーが楽しめるゲームです。 リズムゲームは、ノーツを叩くだけではなく、いわゆる弾幕ゲームのような要素もあります。敵からの弾幕をかわしながらノーツも叩かなければいけないので、難易度がイージーでも結構難しくて、音ゲーがあまり得意ではない私はすごく苦戦しました… ゲームはコイン（他ゲーでいうスタミナのようなもの）を消費してプレイすると楽曲のキャラのレベルが上がります。コインを消費しないでプレイすることもできるみたいです。 ストーリーは、セラ、グレイス、スミレ、ハクノが所属する「StarLivht」というアイドルグループのプロデューサーにプレイヤーがなる所から始まります。ネタバレになってしまうのであまり多くは語れないのですが、プロデューサー含む登場人物全員に抱えているものがあって、それを理解しあっていこうというもので、登場人物にLGBTQなどのアイデンティティを持つ子がいるので、私は親近感のようなものが湧いて感動しました。 ストーリー以外にも、ホーム画面？のような所で1日1回くらいのペースで見れるキャラ同士のミニトークも楽しいです。 不満な点を挙げるとするなら、新しいチャプターのストーリーは各キャラのレベルをチャプターごとに指定された値まで上げないと、読むことができないのが少しもどかしいのですが、ゲームのモチベーションにもなって良いと思います。 グラフィックもイラストも綺麗で滑らかに動くので、今のところ不快感を覚えるようなことはなかったです。 素晴らしいゲームを提供してくださって、ありがとうございます！💞 ### 5/5 — rhythm game enthusiast *2024-01-15* coming from some other more traditional rhythm games this was quite the jump, but absolutely worth getting better at. both the gameplay and story kept me hooked and even somehow got me to buy the original NOISZ on steam just to learn more about the world.
