## What is NoJar?

You think people will say no. You are probably wrong — and you have never measured it.

NoJar is a 30-day self-experiment. Before each ask, you lock in a prediction: the chance they say yes, from 0 to 100%. Afterwards, you log what actually happened. Predictions are immutable once saved — that is what keeps your data honest. After 15 resolved asks, NoJar shows you the gap between what you predicted and what people actually said. Not a study. Your own numbers.

THE SCORE IS INVERTED
Your weekly target is rejections collected, not asks made. A yes is a miss. The quota only moves on a no. Removing the failure state is what removes the avoidance.

PREDICT, ASK, RESOLVE, CALIBRATE
— Write the ask and lock in your prediction before you go
— Resolve it after: they said yes, they said no, or you chickened out
— A no scores. Confetti included
— A dodge is never shamed. Logged. That's data too

YOUR CALIBRATION, MEASURED
— A plain-language headline: what you predicted on average against how often people said yes
— A reliability chart of predicted probability against real outcomes
— An accuracy score with a trend against your last stretch of asks
— Your dodge rate by predicted probability — the chart that shows where your nerve actually breaks

The app also states its own limits: self-selected asks are not a random sample, and the screen says so.

128 CURATED ASKS
Four difficulty tiers, from asking a café for tap water to asking your manager for a raise. No stunts, no pranks, nothing that pressures anyone or targets people who can't decline freely.

A FINISH LINE, NOT A TREADMILL
NoJar is a 30-day programme. On day 30 you get a report: total asks, no's collected, dodge rate, calibration drift week by week, and the successful ask you rated lowest — the one that mattered. Shareable as an image. After that, the app keeps working but stops nagging. No daily streaks, ever.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
No account. No sign-up. No server. No analytics or tracking of any kind. Your asks — which are often personal — stay in a protected store on your device. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

ONE PAYMENT, NO SUBSCRIPTION
Free to try: log up to 10 asks and browse the first two tiers of the library. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited asks, the full calibration screen, the Day 30 report, every library tier, and CSV export of your data.

Three quiet notifications, all optional: a reminder to resolve open asks, a week-close note if the quota isn't met, and one when your Day 30 report is ready. NoJar never tells you to go be brave.

Not a treatment: NoJar is a curiosity experiment. If asking things causes you real distress, a therapist is a better tool than an app.
