Were the game free of this bug, I would GLADLY rate five stars. But as it stands, I am sorely disappointed with Lucky Kat’s response. Around Level 126, my game would crash each time I finished the level, preventing me from advancing. I would complete the level, the coins would shower in their delightful celebratory fashion and the game would freeze. Every time. Without fail. I tried rebooting, reinstalling, updating my device, all to no avail. After some digging, I found I am not the only person to have experienced this issue, and that it has in fact been a problem for years now on both Apple and Android, and yet, it has not been fixed. For a game that is so thoughtfully designed and so charming in its character, this lapse in maintenance is particularly irritating. I would of course be happy to reinstall and continue to play, as well as rate much higher if this issue was ever fixed, but until then, Nom Plant is simply not worth the space it takes on my phone if it’s not going to run properly. Good luck, fellow players. There are still ads. *2023-03-18, version 1.5.9* Just clicked on the ‘No Ads’ link and paid so we wouldn’t see any ads. There are still heaps of ads built into actions in the game. You need to watch an ad to plant a seed for example. My son is playing the game and we paid to remove the ads so he doesn’t see things inappropriate for his age, like the zombie/bikini wearing women game ad, but they are still there. It appears ‘No ads’ only removes the ads after each round but not all the other ads in different parts of the game.
