## What is Nom Staff?

Nom Staff is the kitchen and front-of-house companion for businesses on Nom404. Every order placed through a customer's QR scan appears in real time, ready to be confirmed, prepared, marked ready, and served.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with the staff account your business owner created for you
2. Watch incoming orders appear in real time
3. Tap Confirm to acknowledge each order
4. Move tickets through Preparing, Ready, and Served as you go
5. Tap any order for full ticket details: modifications, dietary tags, and special instructions

Order cards now show a customer's loyalty points and when they expire, so you can remind regulars to redeem before they lose them. Plus a faster, snappier order board.

Collect card payments right at the counter. The new terminal collection flow lets your team confirm a card-at-counter payment and enter the reference in one smooth sheet, with a keyboard-aware layout so the reference field is always reachable. Plus fixes and polish for a calmer shift.

Open or close your store on the spot, plus clearer service areas.

- New store status control: open or close your store for orders right from the floor. Handy for closing early or opening for a special event outside your posted hours.
- Service-area and room labels: when your business names how orders are handed off (for example Table, Counter, or Room), the point of sale, receipts, and kitchen tickets now use that wording. Room service shows a room-number field and prints the room on the receipt and kitchen docket.
- Fixed the loading spinner so it shows on the Collect Cash button, not Start Preparing.
- The app now reads Nom throughout, plus reliability and error-message improvements.

Shift management and cashier accounts are here.
Open a shift with your starting cash, ring orders through the day, then close out with an automatic Z-report that compares your declared drawer to the expected total and flags any variance. End-of-day cash reconciliation now lives in the app instead of a manual count.
Cashier accounts let each person on the floor approve a void or discount with their own PIN, so every approval is tied to who made it.
Also in this release: a clearer prompt when an account has no switch PIN set, plus stability fixes for the on-screen keyboard.

This update adds cashier cash collection and minimum-order support.

Cashier cash collection. Collect cash for online cash orders with a validation code, so the right payment is matched to the right order.
