## What is Nomad Pro?

Nomad Pro helps British citizens and nationals living abroad take the stress out of UK residency record-keeping, so they can travel with more confidence and less documentation anxiety.

Use daily or weekly check-ins to keep a simple record of where you were and whether you worked. When location permission is granted, Nomad Pro can suggest your current country during check-in. Your dashboard turns those records into a clear tax-year picture: UK day count, UK work day count, Schengen position, and country-limit watchpoints in one place.

The planner helps you model future stops before you book them, so you can see where a route starts to create pressure. Instead of guessing from a spreadsheet, you can plan your year visually and understand what needs attention.

It is also built around documentation. Check-ins, travel history, work-day records, notes, imports, and exports help you keep an evidence trail and explain the rationale behind your movements. When your accountant or tax adviser needs the detail, you can export CSV/PDF summaries from your local records.

Core features include:

- UK Statutory Residence Test tracking
- Schengen 90/180 tracking
- Country stay-limit tracking
- Local daily or weekly reminders and check-ins
- Location suggestions during check-in when permission is granted
- Travel log and work-day records stored on your device
- Visual planner for future routes
- CSV/PDF exports for accountant or tax adviser review

Premium unlocks:

- natural-language entry
- AI-assisted gap detection
- AI-assisted risk explanations
- bank statement import
- AI-generated accountant narrative reports

Nomad Pro is a personal record-keeping tool only. It does not provide tax or legal advice.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-23

More accurate UK residence results:
• If your UK days land exactly on a limit, such as 90 or 120 days, the app now counts it the way HMRC does.
• The 90-day tie now only applies if you spent more than 90 days in the UK in either of the last two tax years. Being UK resident in those years no longer triggers it on its own.
• Smoother onboarding and a clearer Check a trip result.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-07

Small update, three fixes:

• Your check-in celebration is back. The high five after you log your day was quietly failing to appear — it shows every time now.
• The home-screen widget now follows your local date, so it always knows whether today is logged, and the wide widget no longer clips longer streaks.
• Daily reminders no longer nudge you on a day you have already logged, and they use your local calendar day wherever you are.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-23
