Had my profile approved today. Took a while. Tried emailing with no luck. Yesterday I submitted a request through the “in app” support system. That did the trick. On today. Good app once you’re in. ### 1/5 — The app *2025-12-23* Looks dead to me. Registered 3 days ago. Still kinda in review. No communication at all. ### 1/5 — App seems mostly abandoned *2024-12-26* It took weeks for my profile to get approved and when it did, there was only about 4 people in Toronto. The people I talked to around the world had never met up with someone they met on the app (it’s much harder when someone’s in a different city). The app is missing basic features such as push notifications when someone messages and loading the upcoming profile photos in the background (it loads every time you swipe). Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Is anyone there? *2024-10-03* I like the idea but unfortunately you just sit in profile review purgatory forever. Not sure if the creators are still operating the app. ### 1/5 — A barren landscape *2024-09-18* Even in major metropolitan cities no one is really on this app. And aside from that, it’s terrible UX. I signed up and was happy to see such a great niche app. After about 2 days of waiting to get approved, I now can’t buy ice breakers in order to connect with others…. Seems like a glitch. Or maybe the developers are wealthy and could care less about making money?! Anyways, it’s frustrating to not get any response from the developers on this issue. Also frustrating that it’s not functioning correctly ### 2/5 — Good concept, poor execution *2023-04-05* I understand this app is in development, but it feels completely unchanged for the better part of a year now. Not even sure they are actively working on it at all anymore. The UI is rough, bugs are everywhere, but as a dating app for this niche community it is a nice option from the standard awfulness of the “normal” dating apps. One issue that’s incredibly frustrating though is the icebreakers. You’re only given a handful to use, with the rest having to be purchased. But, in its current state they cannot actually be purchased. If that’s the case, just make them unlimited (for now). The “Like” system is awful, you’re not notifies anyone likes you and the only way to match is if they also happen to “Like” while swiping in the global pool. Icebreakers allow for a message and the user is notified.
