I’ve been using NomadHer for almost a year now, and although I’ve not been able to attend any of the events yet it’s been so lovely to see how the community has grown and all the new friendships that have bloomed thanks to the app. I’ve also benefitted from some great tips for my most recent travels. ### 5/5 — Great App for female solo traveler *2024-01-27* The application is super user-friendly. Love how we can connect with female solo travelers around the world and meetup while traveling. So far I have used the application while traveling solo in Korea and Thailand. I have a meet females to grab something to eat and to explore hidden gems. One of my favorite features is the camps that they have available it make it easy to connect and do activities that sometimes might be difficult todo while traveling solo. ### 5/5 — An app for women made by a woman *2023-09-04* I think one the greatest features on the app is that you have to validate that you are indeed a woman. Having this feature adds a layer of security and peace of mind when you know this space is for women only. I recently went to Seoul for my first solo trip, my plans for the trip was very last minute so the girls were very helpful guiding me through all my questions and concerns. During the trip I had such a great time exploring on my own and having the privilege to meet other NomadHer girls while in Seoul, I had such a good time spending my evening with the girls, getting to know them, and developing a friendship with the girls. That’s not necessary for the task at hand and a significant privacy violation. I won’t be continuing unfortunately and encourage everyone to think twice before signing up here. When you open the app your messages should be on the landing page instead i have to click several times to get there. If i connect with someone the first thing many of us do is switch to another app like Instagram to communicate. If we don't switch to another app then the interaction dies. The app is worth it just for the initial connection and I appreciate the level of security in verification.
