### 3/5 — Sad

*2026-05-02, version 1.13*

As much as I kind of enjoyed, I'm over 60 and not able to meet the steps goal. I walk more than 8,000 steps daily and stairs but it doesn't chime with the needs of NOMI.

### 3/5 — Amazing except one thing!

*2025-12-22, version 1.13*

This app is awesome, it checks off all my boxes for what I want in a work out pet. HOWEVER, I would love if there was an option to put it to sleep manually for however long you want. There are some days I’m not wearing my watch or not active because it’s my rest day, and those days my pet dies! Please add a feature to fix this because otherwise I’m not sure how to keep it alive during the days I don’t wear my watch or be as active.

### 4/5 — Absolutely love this

*2025-12-12, version 1.13*

I love this app and use it quite regularly! Everything’s pretty great. I do agree with other users about wanting to be able to collect hearts earned during workouts where pausing to feed isn’t always easy to do. Another thing is it would be awesome to have games available for those of us who are not able to get our heart rates up to 125 but who CAN work out for long durations of time to compensate for that. I am on a beta blocker that blocks my heart rate from going too high and I’m unable to play the games to load up on hearts to use later on. Either way though, I do enjoy this and will keep using the app. Thank you for bringing a little joy to my day! :)

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2025-01-04, version 1.13*

It’s a cute app and I’ve only used it for a couple days but it needs some work

Although the tagline is feed them your heartbeats it doesn’t come across as a fitness companion so just going for a walk doesn’t seem to help (for health reasons it’s the only real exercise I can do)

The “Quick boogie” needs to either allow you to alter the time or lower the heart rate needed as I tried to “boogie” a few times and couldn’t even get it half full however intense walking with a couple heavy bags and I was able to do it.

The “Big dash” description only says to exercise until the rings are full but no matter how much I walk I can’t even get the first one to fill a little bit.
So could be clearer and ideally also have a way to limit what you want to achieve heart rate or step count?

Speaking of “big dash” it gives you three sushi which will fill 3 hearts but that all of them so either you’re wasting a sushi or your pets dead… could do with having 5 hearts.

Notifications could be better as I only notice I need to feed them by checking the app occasionally.

Could we add a less intense workout or maybe a mindful one like breathing exercise?

It’s otherwise okay although I think I was expecting it to be more like a tamagotchi on my wrist or something like Finch.

### 4/5 — Fun and simple

*2024-12-27, version 1.13*

App is easy to use and fun, the little pet is adorable. I have a couple suggestions though. It would be nice if i could set the time for when it sleeps to my custom schedule, 11pm is too late and it's almost dead every morning, or start off with one free heart of the day so he doesn't die over night if you needs to be in bed earlier than 11pm. The three sushi heart game is too hard, i shoveled my driveway and didn't get the rings so idk what i need to do to fill those. Maybe have a level two to get two hearts or something. Other than that it has helped me be more active.

### 4/5 — Nomi keeps dying if watch battery dies

*2024-12-16, version 1.13*

Update two:
Got him to 104 days now and my daughter is pretty upset that he will no longer evolve. It would be cool if when they fully evolve, they could go into stasis and you start a new one with the old one able to care for itself. Just so we can try to evolve a new one differently and not worry about the old one dying also.
Update; made it to 33 days, had full health and had to connect my watch to my new iPhone after it had a software issue and needed replaced. Didn’t even do anything to the watch besides pair it to the new phone and it made it completely restart my nomi. Like restart like it was a new app. My watch wasn’t even restarted or reset, it was just paired to my new phone.
My nomi had 3 stars when I went to bed last night, woke up this morning to my watch dead, charged it an hour only to find my nomi dead. This is the 8th time this has happened. If my nomi is full health, my watch dies and it takes less than 5 hours to be back on, like it dies at work or while running errands, then nomi dies also. They should stop the hearts fading and nomi dying if the watch is turned off or dead. I’ve never made it past 23 days because my watch dies and nomi dies soon after. Only reason he’s ever died is because my watch died so I plug it in while I’m sleeping. Watch isn’t even powered on when he dies.

### 3/5 — No Room for Being Sick

*2024-11-12, version 1.13*

I really enjoy this app as it gets me to move everyday but if I am bedridden and sick for even just one or two days, Nomi dies. It’s a little frustrating because I put in so much work. I wish that the mini games to earn hearts could be something that doesn’t involve exercise so that I can try to keep them alive even when I am sick. Or even if I have to buy hearts/food for like a couple dollars or something but there is absolutely no option.

So don’t ever get sick! You’ll kill your Nomi. 🥲

### 3/5 — La app es buena pero…

*2024-11-09, version 1.13*

Me gusta mucho la app, sin embargo ahorita que mi Nomi va en el día 70 los corazones se drenan muy rápido y no puedo mantenerme caminando todo el día para alimentarle, sería genial un modo aún más sencillo porque si no se me va a morir

### 2/5 — Too difficult to soon

*2024-11-03, version 1.13*

I got this for my daughter and can’t can’t passed 10 days it dies in the morning while she’s asleep, the step quality increases too quickly if it doubles every stage (not got passed 2000 a heart) she be walking day and night, please sort is out , plus the games do not work they do count any steps

### 4/5 — So cute wish I could revive tho or pause

*2024-10-11, version 1.13*

I love this app, it’s so cute. However, I took a star away because it makes me so sad when my Nomi dies because I am sick or cannot move as much or accidentally leave my watch at home. There is no way to pause them or revive if they die :( So for now it’s 4/5 stars for me

### 3/5 — Discourages exercise in favor for smaller sessions

*2024-08-29, version 1.13*

This is a neat app, but like a 4 year old review left for feedback in regards to the food system actively interrupting exercise routines, I can’t give this 5 stars.

In a few days, I walked over 16 miles, but because the nomi doesn’t keep track of all my steps, only whatever maxes out a single heart, I only got 3 hearts per day, leading to the lesser evolution.

Please fix that, the current behavior is counterproductive.

### 3/5 — Didn’t see it

*2024-08-16, version 1.13*

Why can’t i find it after purchase. Not even on my watch.

### 3/5 — Süß aber nicht immer durchdacht

*2024-07-06*

### 3/5 — Steps in real time

*2024-07-04, version 1.13*

Loving the app but my steps aren’t recorded in real time. I wish the steps could be recorded like a pedometer. I have 18 more steps to reach 2000 steps and I know I walked 18 steps but it isn’t recording correctly. My poor Nomi is about to die and I can only walk so much!! 😕

### 4/5 — Cool

*2024-06-27, version 1.13*

Love this app! It’s the closest i can get to thebold digivice or tamagachi. Would be cool if you could earn different backgrounds and skins for the nomi!

### 3/5 — nice but could be improved

*2024-05-14, version 1.13*

it would be amazing if the app had more hearts when they’re older (80+ days) or allowed for ‘storage’ of extra hearts to be able to feed it on days that i want to relax. I find that on most days when I’m exercising, the 3 hearts are full but I exercised so much that i could have filled it to 6 hearts. Also, maybe an addition of automatic feeding? I find that when I do exercise, I tend to go go go and forget to feed it sometimes, and then that leaves me with hungry Jerry who has half a heart left and could have eaten the entire time.

### 3/5 — Fun for a while..

*2024-05-08, version 1.13*

This was fun for a while, and even got me to get up and do quick walks to get some steps in, which is something I rarely do, but it got cumbersome really quickly. The steps per heart kept jumping up higher. If you dont remember to feed Nomi when you rack up a heart, subsequent steps don’t get counted towards an additional heart. It just simply won’t work for someone that doesnt have a perfect streak with their step count. The mini games could kinda help with that. Today I had my second Nomi up to 11 days old and forgot about my watch on the charger and found Nomi dead.

### 2/5 — Watch face

*2024-04-13, version 1.13*

It doesn’t stay as my watch face!!

### 2/5 — Nomi keeps dying if watch battery dies

*2024-03-15*

Update; made it to 33 days, had full health and had to connect my watch to my new iPhone after it had a software issue and needed replaced. Didn’t even do anything to the watch besides pair it to the new phone and it made it completely restart my nomi. Like restart like it was a new app. My watch wasn’t even restarted or reset, it was just paired to my new phone.

### 3/5 — Bueno pero abandonado

*2024-02-15*

### 3/5 — Will update star ratings

*2024-02-03, version 1.13*

This is a great app just wish you could interact with it more like play with other ppl pet through internet or play ball or anything else just its not enough maybe buy clothes or toys please take this into consideration

### 3/5 — It’s good but could be better!

*2024-01-15, version 1.13*

It’s pretty good and does motivate me! but it would be cool if the pet had a bit more personality, like moved around the screen and some different animations.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with new update

*2024-09-29, version 1.13*

It’s not on the new upgrade to iOS 11. Buyer beware.

### 1/5 — Sad face

*2024-08-08, version 1.13*

I didn’t even get a chance to play I DL it and then deleted. The advertisement doesn’t mention anything about it dying. I feel so incredibly guilty when I’m not active enough to make sure it’s eats enough to not die it trigger my compulsive behaviors… and makes me anxious.

### 1/5 — paid for the app and can’t download after buying new watch

*2023-10-24, version 1.13*

I have contacted the company three times to give them the chance to fix this issue, but have not heard back. I followed all the steps to try to fix the issue, but the App Store says it’s purchased and won’t let me re-download it.

### 1/5 — Not good and no improvements

*2023-08-30, version 1.13*

I read older reviews and seems like there was no improvement in the app.
It does too fast. Doesn’t last even 24h, so even if you walk once a day, which is my goal, it would die.
There’s no option to skip a day or something in case you absolutely can’t go out for a walk.
Other functionalities for playing with it are very limited

### 1/5 — I can’t use it

*2023-08-22, version 1.13*

My App Store says that I purchased this but it will not show up on my phone or my watch so I’m stuck in limbo. I can’t do anything about it but I want to use it. Feeling annoyed. It says purchase on my watch and my phone but it’s nowhere to be found.

### 1/5 — Can’t download

*2023-08-16, version 1.13*

Brought the app. Can’t download the app. If just says purchased. Both on phone and watch. Is it in my purchased. no. Has the money left my bank. Yes

### 1/5 — No evolution after day 100

*2023-07-28*

No evolution after day 100 and support doesn’t answer.

### 1/5 — Won’t download

*2023-07-21, version 1.13*

Purchased on my watch and won’t show up to download. The app say’s purchased and i followed the directions provided, however, nothing works. This app stole my money.

### 1/5 — Ripoff

*2023-07-03, version 1.13*

The dev has ignored any updates to the app. On e the novelty wears of , it’s boring

### 1/5 — Glitched

*2023-06-22, version 1.13*

So I purchased the app but it won’t let me download it. I’ve tried refreshing. I’ve reached out to app support. No one is getting back to me. It’s not showing in my recently purchased but the money came out of my account. The app glitched in the App Store so now I can’t even attempt to download it and it’s not registering that it’s purchased

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2026-07-01, version 1.13*

It is very interesting APP, Could we get more futures or updates for it?

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2026-06-06, version 1.13*

My favourite app! Have managed to keep my pet alive for over 1100 days! It keeps me moving, I have alarms set to move and feed him. It’s a great fun app, thoroughly recommend.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-05-06, version 1.13*

Really great, nostalgic if you ever had the digivice or tamagachi

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2024-10-27, version 1.13*

This is an awesome app, loving it!

### 5/5 — Love the app!!!

*2024-08-28, version 1.13*

Love the app super cute and love that I can add friends and family. Only thing I’d like to see added is shorter evolution times and being able to feed or help friends with pets. Over all great app ☺️❤️

### 5/5 — Pls update

*2024-07-04, version 1.13*

Really fun app but there hasn’t been an update in a long time :(. My idea for an update is to add a 6 heart per day evolution and add a garden where you could grow plants that help your nomi and there could be a rare revive plant that revives old nomis. I love the idea of this game so please keep working on it!

### 5/5 — Update Ideas For Developers

*2024-01-12, version 1.13*

I really enjoy this app a lot! I think it’s really helping me loose weight and get motivation. I have a few ideas that would be awesome for updates. -Feed friends or give their pets sushi rolls when hearts are low. -Nudge friends to let them know their pets hearts are low. -costumes you can earn by getting points -send messages to friends through app -mobile app added for bonus features -New games -more evolutions -better push notifications -special fruits that will keep hearts full for an entire day in case you want a day off to relax “unlocked through games” -fairy fruit that will save your pet from dying “unlocked through games also have your Nomi hang with a friend for the day to babysit and friend gets bonus items for taking care of your nomi”

### 5/5 — Fun

*2024-01-06, version 1.13*

Very fun for the watch anyone from the 90's would enjoy them too! Love it and keep me active

### 5/5 — Super cute

*2023-11-04, version 1.13*

I find the app really really cute. But also helps encourage myself to make sure to be active and get my steps in. This is really good for me.

### 5/5 — Great app however….

*2023-10-18, version 1.13*

Don’t get me wrong the app is amazing. But if there could be a way to use sushi to play mini games, things like a flappy bird game or something. Anything that allows you to interact with your pet. This game has a lot of potential to be the best app for Apple Watch users
