Dates show up incorrectly when entered. They show up in the app as one day prior (e.g., if you enter March 2, 2025 it will show as March 1, 2025). 2. This problem is compounded if you go to correct the date in the app, because what is printed on the generated form is the date entered. So, if you adjust for the flawed date display by entering one day ahead of what is on the receipt so it displays correctly in the app, the form will be off by one day. 3. Zip codes are missing the last character on the generated form. 4. Gallons are rounded to the nearest hundredth, not thousandth. So amounts are not precise when compare to the receipts. 5. There is no easy way to go back to the Home Screen after submitting receipts. Pressing the back button will put you back to the add receipt screen you were just in. You must close out of the app to get back to the Home Screen. This should be an easy fix. Again, so much promise to be a great app, but needs work. ### 2/5 — 2024 Update needed *2024-08-27* The app needs to be updated to reflect the 2024 refund form that uses the 7.5c per gal refund amount. As of Aug 27 it still uses the 2023 form which has the 5c per gal rate. Please respond to this review to indicate when the update will happen **Developer response:** You are correct we are making a change to edit and delete gas stations but you can always add a new station with the accurate details till the update rolls out. There is a new release with the form that hit recently. Try to update the app in the app store. If you have more questions, please reach out to us at support@NoMOGasTax.com to help! I promise I'm working hard on the backend to improve this app. Tammi ### 2/5 — Not Updated *2024-08-23* This app has not been updated for the July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 period. It will not calculate the increase from $.05 to $.075. I would wait for an update before I download it. When it’s updated, it’s great. But currently, there’s not a reason to download it because it won’t calculate the correct refund. ### 4/5 — Update *2024-07-03* Can the app be updated to reflect the correct tax rate on the form? Clef email it’s correct but then it gives an error and can’t generate it? Help!!!! ### 1/5 — Don’t do it - easier to manually file *2022-08-29, version 1.9* I really tried to use this app. Downloaded, spent hours inputting receipts. Waited for form release version update. Eventually got a prompt to update for new form, so I did. Charged me TWO more times for some reason, and new update had NONE of my info. Contacted Tammy several times. No help or ignored my emails. $14.97 down the drain for a $22 refund. I did the logs on a spreadsheet in 10 minutes and manually filed. Took about 20 minutes versus hours putting pics and data in the app. ### 1/5 — Migration ? *2022-08-26, version 1.9* Tried doing the migration and have lost everything I have entered, also wants me to pay again for what I have already paid , I’m hoping there is a way to recover this? Sent this on July 7 , no developer response? I have paid for this app and now it wants me to pay again, if we can’t move forward with this then please refund my $5 , I expected at least some kind of response, I have a lot of receipts entered and have paid the money but no way to access them, please help me or tell me to get lost ,,,,something ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2022-08-24, version 1.8* Have been trying to subscribe for a month now and every time I hit subscribe I just get a loading screen for eternity. Have yet to be able to subscribe or use. ### 1/5 — Slow and glitchy *2022-08-16, version 1.8* If you don’t add a gas station before starting a receipt, then try to use the ‘add’ option at that point, it freezes. If you try to take a picture of a receipt within the app, it freezes. So you have to take a picture before opening the app and choose to upload it from your phone. Every time I try to add a receipt it spins and spins and loads forever but never saves the receipt. Just goes back to the menu to add the receipt with no error messages I don’t feel this is worth $5 at all…I WOULD LOVE A REFUND! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This app completely fails *2026-07-16* After entering all my gas receipts for an entire year I waited until after July 1st to obtain the generated form and the app will not open after running the latest update for it. When I try to open it, it immediately closes and only appears on the Home Screen. I will delete the app and try to reinstall it today to see if it fixes it. Problem is I probably lost all my gas receipts I spent two hours putting into the system 🤬 ### 1/5 — Review of NoMoGasTax *2026-02-12* Very frustrating app to use, occasional failures that require e-mails to the app’s support staff for help. Tammi ### 1/5 — Disappointed! *2025-08-03* I signed up for this app last month and was using it faithfully. Then all of a sudden t tried to sign in to log a receipt but my password no longer worked. There was no way to request a password reset so I tried signing up again thinking the app would tell me I already had an account. But that didn’t happen. The system signed me up again using the same password as before. When I accessed the app all of my previous transactions were gone!!! I don’t recommend this app. ### 1/5 — App won’t allow me to add another gas station. *2025-07-30* I tried this app as having problems one after the next. First it deleted all y receipts after being stilted for a log tie. Than it says I have a rebate but won’t let me add to it. When I upgraded all of the historical data is gone. I have no way to see my receipts for the first 6 months of this rebate period. Save yourself the money and just fill out the form as you go on your computer and keep the receipts in an envelope. As tax time is now here I’m realizing that this app has not been uploading my inputted data correctly and now I’ll be forced to add EVERY RECEIPT manually when I spent $5 on this app to do it for me. The developer is very responsive when contacted for help and advice! Saved me time and hassle getting my money back from the state of Missouri! ### 5/5 — Not Updated *2025-06-06* This app has not been updated. It will not create the correct tax forms or calculate the correct refund. I would wait for an update in 2025 before I download it. When it worked it was great. I had so many receipts to enter and submit for the first round of rebates. The form generated after I entered the info. So easy to use. I had to reach out for support because the email address I have linked to my Apple ID doesn’t exist any longer and they quickly created an edit button. So helpful and kind. I highly recommend this app. (I heard there were issues at the beginning but no longer the case) ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-08-02, version 1.8* Works great! I purchased the app and couple days later was asked to migrate the data to Apple ID (which I did) after doing so, I had some issues. I have contacted support and they have been VERY responsive in working with me on any issues I have had. I know that they are continuing with enhancements and feature-development that will make this app even more robust in the future.
