### 5/5 — Lifesaver

*2026-07-28, version 2026.6*

Starting at 46, this app is such a lifesaver. I’m in love.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-07-24, version 2026.5.1*

This is a perfect plan for those of us who are coming back to running after a ‘few’ years and now with a couple of injuries too! It slowly builds your endurance - I’m on week 6 now so nearly half way and I love it!

### 5/5 — This app got me places I never thought I could reach

*2026-07-22*

This app has been an amazing experience honestly. I have a MCL tear in each knee. Right one is smaller than the left. The left hurts pretty much most of the time walking, playing pickleball. Also whenever I would swim my left knee would hurt just doing the kicking motion. With all that said I gave your app a shot to build around my knee aswell as conditioning. This morning I completed my first ever 25 minute run. I am shocked I have gotten this far. I have gone on trips during this time and I swim full speed with no pain in my left knee. Now it still smarts while playing pickleball but that’s cutting and stopping quickly. I have been impressed at my body and appreciate this app in getting me to this point. I also believed in you when I made that jump to 20 mins. You said I could do it. And I did! Thank you and your team.

### 5/5 — Completely awesome perfect for new runners

*2026-07-14, version 2026.5.1*

This is a must try app for new runners it helped me so much with running.

### 5/5 — BEST program!!

*2026-07-13*

I have been trying to get into running for a long time. failed often. this program is so straightforward with proper tips that make it manageable and for you to be successful. I’m starting week 7 and I couldn’t be happier. I feel progress in my stamina and I have lost inches. I also feel confident that I will be successful this time around.

### 5/5 — Completely awesome perfect for new runners

*2026-07-01, version 2026.5*

This is a must try app for new runners it helped me so much with running.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-06-27, version 2026.5*

This is a perfect plan for those of us who are coming back to running after a ‘few’ years and now with a couple of injuries too! It slowly builds your endurance - I’m on week 6 now so nearly half way and I love it!

### 5/5 — Fabulous training plan and team

*2026-06-16, version 2026.5*

I love these training plans. I’ve had N2R for ages now and every update brings more useful features and the support team are so responsive!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2026-06-13, version 2026.5*

Much better than couch to 5 k.

### 5/5 — Give it a try

*2026-06-08, version 2026.5*

Have love this app as it has help me with starting plus with the walk run intervals has much improved my runs and enjoyment again

### 5/5 — This is THE beginner running program!

*2026-06-05*

I am about to start week 3 of the 12 week beginner program. And I am loving it!! I’ve tried other programs but this one is working! The ramp up is very manageable. I look forward to heading out. And I feel fantastic afterwards. Yup, this is a great program!

**Developer response:** Looking forward (and not dreading) to a run is so key to building momentum and consistency. Well done! 🙌

### 5/5 — Easy path back to running

*2026-06-04, version 2026.5*

Like everyone, I started with the intervals and thought no way would I make it in the time they said (12 weeks). But other people in the group had completed the program and to be honest, I had to check the ego and learn something new, every couple of weeks to keep me on track. Right enough, I completed the program and since then can ‘easily’ run for 30mins 3 times a week. I’m switching things up a bit for a few weeks but will be jumping into the Race to 10k plan when I’m back. The biggest thing for me before was managing to run without getting injured (both knees have had cartilage removed) and I can do that and more now.

### 5/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-05-28, version 2026.4*

Switched to the music section mid run and was unable to get back to my workout, which stalled and was then lost.

### 5/5 — Looks good!

*2026-05-20*

I found this app great for getting into running. It helps improve consistency as well.

**Developer response:** Being consistent is a huge part of it - well done.

### 5/5 — Best Beginning Run App!

*2026-05-18, version 2026.4*

I am not a runner and this app is turning me into one! It’s hard to run but the way this program eases you into it has made this achievable! I’m 57 and I’m on week 5, run 2 and it’s getting easier and easier. Hard to believe it’s getting easier but it makes sense when you are eased into a program and not jumping right in to running and suffering from injuries. I have bad knees and this program works great for me and my knees!
Thank you None 2 Run Team!!!!

### 5/5 — Only time I’ve rated an app

*2026-05-11, version 2026.4*

I’m trying to figure out how to be honest without sounding like a sponsored ad. I’ve never ran in my life, actually I didn’t LIKE running at all. I decided to start and I knew I’d need some type of guidance. This was more than I was ever bargaining for. It has all the features I didn’t even know I needed. The fact it verbally speaks the directions to you is the one that got me hooked because what?? It does such a good job fostering a sense of pride and achievement, like I just got my first week achievement and I’m bragging to everyone I know. 10/10, I tried 2 or 3 other apps briefly and they didn’t compare at all.

### 5/5 — I LOVE this app

*2026-05-06, version 2026.4*

I have wanted to run for a long time, but I was overweight and way out of shape. I took a leap of faith and tried None to Run and I am so so glad I did! The intervals are small and build gradually, plus the easy strength workouts are amazing as well. I remember when running 30 seconds felt like a lifetime and now I can run 3 miles without stopping. This app allowed me to become a runner and fall in love with the sport. Thank you None to Run!!

### 5/5 — Best running app I’ve ever used

*2026-05-02, version 2026.4*

I have done several 5K running programs over the years, and I always had to take time off due to injuries. Currently I’m 8 weeks in without any breaks due to injuries. I’m also closer than I ever have been to running 5K without having to take tons of walk breaks. It’s a wonderful program, and I thank Coach Mark for it!

### 5/5 — From none to 5ks at 50ish.

*2026-04-25, version 2026.4*

So excited to find this program. I’m in my 50’s thought my health didn’t allow me to run. But N2R taught me I could take my time build up at my pace, in my time. And now I’m well on my way of not only running 5ks regularly but dropping my time. I’m so grateful for this program.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Another marketer designs a fitness programme

*2026-06-27, version 2026.5*

These programmes are designed to make money. Please explain to be why week 10 jumps from 5 minute intervals to 20 minutes flat!!

Every true beginner will struggle with this but you need to make it fit into 12 weeks for marketing purposes right?

### 1/5 — Can’t adjust timer unless you pay $40

*2025-11-24, version 2025.6.2*

Just need a simple interval timer. This isn’t it

### 1/5 — False info is irritating

*2025-05-14, version 2025.4*

Researched this on Internet, I found that the basic 12 week program is free and that you only need a subscription for the bells and whistles… lo and behold, went to do my second run, can’t without subscribing! So annoying!

### 1/5 — Unable to log back in

*2025-01-16, version 2024.9*

My app was accidentally deleted from my phone. I redownloaded it and there is no option to login, the only option is to pay for another plan! I emailed support but have not received a response.

### 1/5 — I never subscribed and they charged me for months

*2024-05-15, version 2024.3*

I downloaded the app to check it out wasn’t so keen on it, so I deleted the app and my account and today have discovered that they have been charging me for 10 months without my knowledge

### 1/5 — A bit dishonest

*2023-05-02, version 2023.2.1*

At no point until you try to do your second run do you find out that there’s a charge to use the app.

### 1/5 — Misleading trail app

*2023-04-04, version 2023.1*

Only one workout is included in the ‘free’ base app so “day 2” requires a payment.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2021-06-08, version 2021.9*

What an awful running app. The robotic voice gives zero motivation. In fact it makes me less inclined to run! Not good. Even worse. You have to pay after only one week. Useless. I’m going back to couch to 5K. Way better than this rubbish.

### 1/5 — False Advertising- not free

*2021-03-14*

I'm very irritated with apps that are described as "free" but then there is a monthly cost after the first week. 10/10 disappointed.

### 2/5 — Still not a runner

*2026-02-20, version 2026.3*

The program is still too fast and I can’t get past week four. I’ve tried several times and pretty much have had enough.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — FINALLY A RUNNING APP THAT WORKS!!!

*2026-08-22, version 2026.6*

I have tried so many running apps over the years. So many have really fancy features and routes and gamification and such. However, none did two things right that I wanted - start the workout on the phone, have a mirror on the Apple Watch to see stats during the run, and don’t impact the music. This one is what I’ve been looking for!!!! Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — The best beginner app

*2026-08-21*

I’ve tried many other programs to start (or continue) running, and this one is by far the clearest and most accessible. The additional features like strength training routines are a point of difference, and the app is pleasant to use and easy to navigate. I also appreciate that N2R makes a point of including people of different bodies and backgrounds in their social media and user stories. You can tell this app is made by people who truly care about their users and want to introduce them to running, not just collect their money.

### 5/5 — My favourite running app!

*2026-08-19*

This app is just perfect. No unnecessary talking in the background from the coach (aka no podcast interruptions 😂), just quick updates for when to start your intervals and occasional speed/distance updates.

The progression is also a bit slower than other programs… which I really like because It reduces injury risk and allows me to focus on feeling good rather than pushing too hard at the beginning. I am actually enjoying running again for the first time in years. YAY! 🥰

### 5/5 — Loving it!

*2026-08-19, version 2026.6*

So far, so good! 😊

### 5/5 — Breakthrough!

*2026-08-17, version 2026.6*

I gave up on running 20 years ago because I always ended up being seriously injured. It was very frustrating because when I did it I loved it but now this app has to help me to have a big breakthrough. I managed to do the whole 12-week program without a hitch and I can call myself a runner now. I'm deeply grateful for this app

### 5/5 — TRUST THE PROCESS! This is IT!

*2026-08-12*

Mark knows what he's talking about.
After multiple injuries over several years and programs, I'm finally succeeding. And RUNNING! I needed to check my ego at the door and agree with myself to actually follow the program. Were the first two weeks insanely easy and I was almost embarrassed to call it running? Yep, but I loved the schedule, I loved the strength training that was doable physically AND time-wise. And guess what? By week three I felt my muscles muscleing. I WAS getting stronger. At week 10 I was scared for the "jump," (and Mark DOES have a bridge for that if it's too scary), but I kept reading the encouraging words in the app and decided to go for it. The keys are all about consistency and going SLOW (I know, trust me, I know!!) to build your BASE. That was what I never fully developed before. I really love running now, because I'm not scared I'm going to get hurt again (sure, a twisted ankle can happen to anyone, but you know what I mean). This program doesn't hurt, IF you listen to Mark. Between the app, the email newsletter, and the FB group, you really never feel alone. He actually encourages you to respond, and--wait for it--REPLIES back to you!! He actually cares about helping people get healthy and fall in love with running. The app definitely makes the experience more fun, enjoyable, and consistent, but he's even put the plans up for free as print outs because he cares that much. He believes in running, and he believes anyone can be a runner, and with this program, I do too! I encourage you to give this journey to yourself as a gift. After you're done with the starting program(s) (there are ones that will even help you start if 30 minutes of walking is difficult right now), there are programs for 5k, 10k, and half marathon!

### 5/5 — Awesome Plan It Works

*2026-08-12, version 2026.6*

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-04*

### 5/5 — Best Beginning Run App!

*2026-08-02, version 2026.6*

I am not a runner and this app is turning me into one! It’s hard to run but the way this program eases you into it has made this achievable! I’m 57 and I’m on week 5, run 2 and it’s getting easier and easier.
