## What is NoninConnect?

The NoninConnect™  application is only for use with the NoninConnect™ and NoninConnect™ Elite Bluetooth® Smart pulse oximeter products. 

Nonin Medical, the leader in fingertip pulse oximetry, introduces a wireless Bluetooth® Smart pulse oximeter for use with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The NoninConnect™ Bluetooth® Smart Pulse Oximeter, combined with this application, allows you to noninvasively track and trend blood oxygenation and pulse rate – for health, wellness, sports, and aviation use.

Within the Apple Health app, you can find Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) and Peripheral Perfusion Index under Results; Heart Rate (Pulse Rate) can be found under Vitals.

Please add the option to read and write data into the Health App using the HealthKit Entitlement, to request access to our(user) data so it can be recorded in the health app that would be a plus, I can’t add it via settings under Bluetooth if you add that I don’t see any updates for this application since 8 years ago, it’s very outdated now please add other features. Thanks!

A very basic app. I could only get it to write its data to the Apple Health app once per use. After pairing your oximeter with this app, you put your finger in your oximeter, the app chugs along for about 20 seconds, then transmits a single instance of pulse rate, SpO2%, and PI%, and then never tries again until you remove your finger, let the app recognize you’ve stopped (about a 10-second wait), and then put your finger in again for another 20 seconds. This is especially frustrating when the app has collected a whole night’s worth of data, and there is no way to get it into the Apple Health app. Yes, you can export the session data as a csv file and email it to yourself, but there is no way to import that csv file into the Apple Health app. I’ve had heart rate monitor apps that updated the Apple Health app with the data they were collecting every few seconds of use. 1 star to reflect your development efforts, because at least the app is free and keeps collecting your oximeter’s data when the app is running in the background, or when your iPhone is in standby mode—data which it then refuses to share with the Apple Health app.

I’m using with the Wrist Ox2 3150 and it connected fast with no issues and the app does exactly what it says in the description.  

Would like more features like High/Low alarm notifications.

Was told app would connect my iPhone/iPad to my pulse oximetry. After trying a few times I noticed it was for a 3000 series meter. There isn't an app in the apple App Store for the nonin 9560. You must connect it to a desktop computer......if I didn't have instage copd, I might be able to tote one around with me......but then, I wouldn't need the app or computer.

Does not work with Onyx 9560.  Nonin tech unable to explain what it will work with.  Claimed I had to write my own software to use the 9560.  You have been warned.

I brought the NoninConnect device, and it works with this app.  Can’t understand how to get the second screen shown for this app with the graphs.  Changing rating to 3 stars until Nonin updates this app to do more things.
