Nonna for Elders

Nonna is one app for both sides of the call. On your phone it is the app for the person doing the caring: you build the family list, set up your parent's phone from where you are, and call whenever you want. On their phone the same app becomes something else — a screen of family faces, large, and nothing more. No menus, no notifications, no setting that can be knocked out of place by accident. Set it up once You install Nonna on their phone, sign in with your account, and mark that phone as theirs. It takes a minute. After that there is no email, password, or sign-up in front of them: they never see a login screen. One tap to call, one tap to answer They tap the face of the person they want and the call starts. When someone calls them, the whole screen shows that person's face with one large button to answer. There is nothing else to get right. Room for the whole family Group calls bring children, grandchildren and anyone else onto the same screen. Everyone shows up with the photo and the name they recognise. Change things without going over there Swap a photo, fix a name, add someone new: it all happens from your phone and appears on theirs immediately. You do not need to pick up their device again. Built for eyes and ears that need more Large buttons, high contrast, readable text, volume you can actually hear. The interface decisions were made for someone who is eighty, not someone who is thirty. A secure connection Calls go directly between the devices, and each family's account is separate from every other. The two sides don't need the same kind of phone.
