If you don’t close out of an ad that has ended within a short timeframe of it concluding, then you lose the benefits of the ad. Not only that, but I just watched an ad to triple a reward of over 200 million gold and when the ad wasn’t closed quick enough, I lost the reward and even lost all of that gold that had been earned while I was offline. Every other app that offers ad rewards, I can close the end of the ad part at any time and I will still get the reward. ### 4/5 — Good game, one major issue *2018-07-22, version 2.7.0* Probably one of my favorite games on here (even paid money for some offers on there which I normally don’t do) but the only thing that bothers me to no end is the fact that there’s no option to kick out inactive players for boss hunts. I feel that it’s completely unfair and unnecessary. Why should the people that work hard to kill bosses miss out on the milestone max, all because some dummies will join and stay at 0 kills the entire hunt. Like I said, I love the game and all but the devs should really considering adding a “kick out” mechanic if the players aren’t participating and making others work for it. ### 3/5 — Too hard near end! *2018-05-17, version 2.5.0* I liked the game when I first got it and thought it was cool because it was different. But now that I’ve played it some more, I didn’t find it that fun. When I got onto only stage 60 something, it was way too hard. I never afk’ed enough money to upgrade my guy to beat the boss. EVEN AFTER A WEEK!!!! And I didn’t feel like I would have enough loot when I clicked the redo button thing. And all of the weapons and armour have the same amount of health. They just give it to you either a lower or higher level. Just for decoration. I like the idea of the and the creativity plus effort put into it, so I rated 3 stars. Yet, I’m gonna not play it anymore. ### 4/5 — It’s not Christmas guys *2018-04-15, version 2.5.0* I feel like this game may be on its way out. I use to love this game. But it will never be synchronized with my devices, I’ll have to delete the app then re download it to synchronize it. Was a good run. Gonna keep it on my phone cause it’s still fun when I need to kill time. Just update it so it’s no longer a darn Christmas theme. We should be able to atleast equip 3 at most like maybe they can’t have the same ability but we should be able to equip 3 and when u ascend u should keep ur good that’s hard earned🤷🏽‍♂️and I am also having the issue of obtaining gold I’ll leave for a good 7 hours Bc of school and come back and only have 100k? And then when I go into boss hunt I never advance wats up with that? ### 3/5 — Love this game, very addicting *2017-12-27, version 2.4.0* This game is wonderful. I can't put it down. The only real problem I have with the game which stops me from rating the game higher is when I watch the bonus videos the game crashes a little less than half the time while loading. I'm not sure if it's on certain videos or not. Last thing I usually see is it saying "loading game demo". I have a steady wifi connection and plenty of free space on my phone. The rest of the game runs perfectly. ### 5/5 — Wow! *2017-12-09, version 2.4.0* I never thought that I would love this app so much I play it every day! And the game still runs even if you are not playing! Its really fun too! I would give this app five an a half stars because of one thing... well too one I can’t and two I wish you can go to a home screen and stop fighting all the monsters. And there you can change yourself, your profile picture, and chat and so you can strategize. Thank you so much customer support!!! It's unfortunate that I have to change my rating to 1 star. I love this game a lot and have been playing for the last year. I play pretty much daily and participate in every boss hunt. Unfortunately, my game did glitch once in October and I was put in a boss hunt by myself. My character did not advance any because it's impossible to play a boss hunt alone. I sent several messages to support and they have given me no support back. Just an 'I'm sorry.' They say because I did not spend any real money, there's nothing they can do. This is really poor customer service and I've decided to make this public. If you have an issue, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!! My character missed out on outfits, gems, coins, etc and they refuse to give me anything for my trouble. I am very serious about my knight. Thank you for your patience. ### 3/5 — Fun and engaging despite being *2017-10-25, version 2.3.0* A game that's designed to play without you. But it's super annoying how often it crashes on me. It's always at random times. Sometimes after watching a video. Sometimes while doing nothing but killing mobs. And once when I was about to change my pet. And I always lose gold and equipment lvls when it happens. Once I swear I even lost a boss in a boss hunt. ### 3/5 — Rigged against the F2P players *2017-10-09, version 2.2.0* I gave this game 3 days and $30 in an attempt to make it to the 590 floor mark. This should have been more than doable considering I invested in additional currency for upgrading stats and keeping myself alive. I realized today that no matter how far you get on a previous run through...even with all the stat improvements a boss that was very hard previously becomes impossible upon reset to floor 1 with full progression upward. Case in point, I defeated floor 209 elite boss with all legendary gear at lvl 370 and 1 revive. The lvl 200 boss was rated very hard btw. I reset and upgraded 15k damage, 10k defense, and 15k skill. Next run through from floor 1 I made sure to have the exact same gear and wouldn’t you know: gear lvl 375 on boss 200 impossible beat with 1 revive and elite boss 209 unbeatable with gear lvl 385 and 3 revives. Don’t waster your time or money on this game unless you want to grind all day, every day to make it an additional 5 floors before the game says you reached your peak for the day without spending more money. Also the bosses with the ability to resist skills are pretty much impossible in late game because you rely almost completely on your skills. The boss hunts are even tougher because you can’t ascend at all so not that far in you’ll have grind forever to do decent damage to the bosses. Im also not sure why there are different ranks for the boss hunt since once the boss hunt ends everybody’s loot gets reset and it doesn’t even make a difference so why is that a thing?? I could talk infinitely about why this game is bad but I’m gonna stop here. Basically if you don’t want to grind all day to have a chance of progressing, or wait hours or days for your knight to gain enough gold automatically to continue don’t play this game. **Developer response:** Hello there. Please contact us via support.flaregames.com ### 1/5 — Why. *2019-03-14, version 2.9.1* I enjoy the odd clicker or idle game--this isn't a complaint about the genre. This game, Nonstop Knight, in particular, is too heavy-handed with the manipulative elements and not generous enough with mechanics representing progress. Unlike a game which would, say, progress without attention (thus being fun to observe), or a game which would, say, allow your interactions to meaningfully affect the game (you can claim to "play" it), this one is the worst of all worlds. "Progress" is nonexistent when the app is closed or backgrounded. Even with it running, your actions do essentially nothing, in the general case, but the game will punish you by temporarily killing your character if you stop buying "upgrades", on a schedule that has you churning in place without any meaningful change happening -- the idea is to keep you invested in the notion of valuing and spending the ingame currency, or at least allowing yourself to be bribed to watch video ads. (Otherwise, you might be content to stay out of that hamster wheel.) There is even a game mode which places you in "competition" with other players, in terms of how many bosses you've killed over a span of time. That doesn't even make sense in the context of this game, except as an utterly cynical, manipulative ploy to waste your money and attention. Don't install this game. Your life isn't that worthless. At the very least, pick a better waste of time. ### 1/5 — Nah, glitchy game. *2018-09-04, version 2.7.0* Got all the way to the 21st floor. With a decent weapon level 48 with 38% increased damage. Did the ascension. And then suddenly my mace was gone, for a level 23 pitchfork with no decent buff. My 2 star armor was replaced with a level 13 no star armor. And my good cloak replace with a low level no star as well. If everything we obtain is removed by the game by a forced function. That never indicates that it will remove without selling your gear for trashier gear when you’re facing harder mobs now. That leaves me to say, that 1 star is too much. 0/10 worthless. ### 1/5 — Too Many Hackers *2018-07-20, version 2.7.0* This game is fairly easy to hack, therefore, there are full of hackers who ruin the competition like Boss Hunt, and push fairplay players to quit this game. As I mentioned, hackers are very visible in Boss Hunt, where they max out all the abilities with infinite gems, and kill all the bosses in minutes. Few of fairplay players who spent time and money into this game contacted developers via Facebook messenger or email to ban reported hackers and stop them from hacking the resources, but the developers always say they are working on protecting the game from hacks/cheats; however, there is no change so far, and I guarantee there will be no change in future. Don’t waste your time on games serviced by this developer team since their customer service is terrible and they don’t have the ability to keep their games clean from hacks. ### 1/5 — No help, game still won’t open *2018-01-05, version 2.4.0* Well, I made it to level 50, played multiable boss hunts, even spent real cash to get daily gems. In December, they updated to a Christmas theme and I haven’t been able to open game since. Customer support treated me like I was an idiot, then figured out more then one person had an issue with the update. As of today, the game still won’t load and they said “Too bad about you money”. My recommendation is to not waste your time playing this game. At a minimum, do not spend a dime on it, as they absolutely do not care about your experience or issues. ### 2/5 — Interesting game, but moneymongers ruin it *2018-02-17, version 2.5.0* Despite spending an iTunes gift card I received over the holidays, I’m still plagued by the eternally existent “Special Event” advertisements that REMAIN on the LEFT and RIGHT side of the screen. You’d think that the timer on the events will clear from your screen once it expires... nope. A new “special (payment required) event” replaces the expired one. I would recommend that you do not spend money on this game. Developers don’t seem to have a limit, especially when you supported the game by spending money. ### 2/5 — Boss hunt is eh *2017-09-23, version 2.1.0* I left for a while because I had an issue where I would spend my gold and the game would restart itself with all my gear at level one without returning my gold. This is STILL an issue. It literally just happened less than two minutes ago in the middle of a boss hunt. Boss hunts are also extremely pay to do anything. (win, progress, in general play) They’re pretty ridiculous. The only way I can progress through a boss hunt is to start it and leave it alone for hours so that I can come back and level the gear so I can at least get to the very first boss. This method stupidly works and I’ve made top 3 twice with this, but with this gold glitch still being an issue after all this time is ridiculous. ### 3/5 — Good game with glitches *2019-01-01, version 2.9.1* A really like this game and I think it has great potential. I have no problem with the control scheme or the actual features of the game. I have had consistent and nearly constant difficulties with primarily the autopathing. My knight gets stuck all the time and then often cant get unstuck. If I close and restart the game the specific instance is normally fixed but almost immediately gets stuck again. While it is stuck it is unable to fight completely. I have tried several things from uninstalling the app, restarting the app, closing the app and restarting my phone, etc. I think this game could easily be a 4 star + game and will be happy to update my rating if it gets fixed. ### 3/5 — Solid game. Super buggy *2018-11-08, version 2.7.5* I like the idea and concept around this game and when it works it works however especially after the most recent update the screen resolution is off on the iPhone X and despite uninstalling and reinstalling it the issue remains. As others have mentioned the game has a tendency to let you use coin‘s potions etc. but will restart shortly after and you may or may not still have that items affects or upgrades available. I think I’m going to uninstall for a while and maybe come back to it after these things have been addressed because it makes the overall experience pretty poor. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Updates *2022-07-03, version 2.20.0* I love this game but In some boss hunts I see people with weapons and cloaks that I can’t even get anymore that are extremely strong so they have a huge advantage because they’re soo good. I’d love if you could release them again so everyone gets a chance to get them. I really wanna get The Kringle weapon ### 5/5 — Better than Nonstop Knight 2 *2019-12-12, version 2.10.0* I originally came to the app store to leave a bad review for NK2, and saw that this had better reviews. This is more fun and a whole lot more less involved (cleaner and casual). You can grind away or leave it be and progress just fine (you don’t need keys or gems or some other ‘paywall-or-patience’ nonsense). The game is so good, I wish I had money to throw at it. Watching ads is helpful for progressing, and I don’t mind them in the least. If I wasn’t broke right now I’d want to support the creators by making purchases in-game. For now, writing this review is the best I can do. ### 5/5 — Tips! *2019-05-21, version 2.10.0* So I’ve redownloaded this game a few times for the sole fact that it is truly an amazing mobile game, best idle-phone up and down-action packed game the AppStore has to offer However, is a little dry please please please add more skills (a lot more) to help make individual players more unique so the leaderboards aren’t spamming same stuff, would love to see this maybe even different classes? Paladin a buffer, introduce high tier dungeons so vet players can get really good weapons such as like a 5 star with a really good passive set but make it super hard to get so you have to really grind for it. Love the work keep it up! I ### 5/5 — None of the criticism makes sense *2018-10-16, version 2.7.5* This is an idle game. Of course you can’t control your character. The game is mindless fun, nothing flashy, but perfect for those out smoking a cigarette on their porch, waiting for the bus, or preoccupying your kid for a few minutes while you take them to school. You can obviously spend a ton of money on this game like literally almost every single other game app, but it’s totally not necessary. Buying a $4.99 value offer gives you a brand new pet that usually adds more flare and strategy to your knights ability to mow down the endless hoards of enemies, and 3 star items like The Snowflake cloak can allow you to chain combos like there’s no tomorrow. This is a fantastic game with very little pressure to make you spend, and the advertisements are usually worth the 30 seconds it takes to watch one. As for the content, it does take a bit of time to get to the next token tier, but by that time you’re playing it 5 to 10 minutes a day, 3 times a day, and still having a lot of fun. I will personally be playing this game for some time. 5 stars! ### 5/5 — Percentage and pets *2018-08-24, version 2.7.0* First of all fantastic game well made and easy to keep my entertained. I do have one problem with it tho when you get a new pet it lets you know the % of the attack damage it does but can’t be found after that. I also don’t know if when I use Crit slash if it counts for my damage or my skill or both so if skills could let me know the base damage and multiplier it would make those pesky bosses easier to know the strategy. My last thing is does buying pets get the the bonus stuff with it or does that happen when I max out the pet level wish you guys could make that clearly. I apologize for knit picking and I know it’s a idle game so the demographic probably doesn’t care about these things but if you could just make it so I can see the percentages that would be lovely thank you for a wonderful game non the less! ### 5/5 — Perfect Free Mobile Game *2018-07-31, version 2.7.0* Easily this became one of my favorites mobile free games, different of the major part of the Free games in the Apple Store, this game is made for the user have fun and not watch ads, completely free of ADs so far, the only things you got to see are the ADs that will give you amazing rewards (the rewards are really great), the game itself it’s really fun and intuitive and easy to get addicted... ### 5/5 — Nonstop fun from a nonstop knight 👍 *2018-06-09, version 2.6.0* I’m gonna just go out there and say it I LOVE this game even though I am usually not that much into mobile games this one is a HUGE exception but even with all the fun in this game it doesn’t go without its flaws like for some reason when my little brother is playing on his iPad and ascends when he finally ascends up...the knight doesn’t move but other than that awesome game ### 5/5 — No regrets, happy to be playing again *2018-05-31, version 2.6.0* So it’s been a while since I came back to this game and when I did, I kept seeing these special $1.99 offers and I figured “eh what the hell” and decided to spend a couple bucks and ever since then, I was advancing my knight tenfold!! Now I’m gonna start playing Nonstop Chuck Norris! ### 5/5 — The best “idle game”! *2018-05-23, version 2.6.0* A lot of the ads (about half or more) are buggy and won't play, making you lose out on a ton of the in-game currency it generates. Half of my mystery boxes are useless!!!!!! Great time waster. Lots of replay value and the boss hunts are getting better all the time. Update: Ads have been perfect lately!! No more frozen ads. Getting all my money, thank you!! Game is still great and fun but the boss hunts can get frustrating due to the other players’ lack of participation. I haven’t “completed all milestones” in a long time yet I’m always top 3. PLEASE make the pet outfits a “top 3” reward instead of “all milestones” so that I actually have a chance...! The one improvement I can think of is to have a chat lobby for boss hunts. Maybe other players would do better if I could give tips/motivation... ### 5/5 — Great idle rpg *2018-05-19, version 2.5.0* I’m personally not a huge fan of idle rpg’s, however this game is quite wonderful. There’s a certain charm to it that has me hooked, it’s both simple but with a lot of room for advancement and complexity. It would be fun to have a pvp feature or a chat feature or more multiplayer comparability.
