## What is Noodle?

Noodle is where musicians trade the ideas they'll never finish.

Every producer has a hard drive full of loops, hooks, and half-songs that never got done. Noodle turns that graveyard into a pantry. Drop an ingredient you've given up on. Pull one someone else left behind. Cook it into something real — just credit where it came from. No paperwork, no gatekeeping.

THE PANTRY
A living feed of unfinished ingredients — loops, one-shots, pads, beats, vocal takes, lyric sketches, full demos. Sort by what's hot, what's fresh, and what's about to spoil. Filter by type, mood, and genre. Every ingredient carries a catalog code so its lineage is always traceable.

PULL & CREDIT
When something sparks an idea, pull it and use it in your own work. Attribution is built in — the original creator is always credited, and you can see the tree of tracks that grew from any ingredient.

COOK-OFFS
Community challenges with a fresh brief on a regular cadence. Drop your take, the community votes, and RIPPLES puts up the prizes.

DIRECT MESSAGES
Connect 1:1 with other musicians to collaborate, by mutual request.

LINE COOK & CHEF
Noodle is free to use as a Line Cook — collect daily tokens and pull ingredients. Upgrade to Chef for unlimited pulls, ingredient analytics, socials on your profile, and a pinned ingredient. One subscription, cancel anytime.

Noodle is an App by RIPPLES Music — a music company building tools, sounds, and a home for people who make things.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-26

- push notifications: a DM or someone taking your ingredient pings you instantly — everything else waits for one gentle nudge every couple of days, never daily
- quiet hours: nothing buzzes you at 3am, DMs included
- settings got its own page, split from edit profile — every notification switch lives there
- likes and comments wear new pills on every ingredient
- the pantry now restocks with fresh house samples every monday
- the noodle-cup loading screen is gone, and the DM page lost its lecture

### 1.1 — 2026-08-18

- tap a playing sample to pause it (finally)
- the ingredient page got a full cleanup: readable header, visible waveform, no more overlapping text
- uploading from your phone works reliably now, with clear error messages
- profile pictures: pick a photo straight from your library
- meet the cooks: browse and search everyone on noodle
- way more moods, genres and tags (drum loops finally have a home)
- a proper welcome tour, in-app terms & privacy, and a report-a-bug button
