It’s constantly lagging, the live video feed is always delayed, the playback is always either loading or not detecting the footage. I hardly get alerts and that’s if not decides it’s going to even alert me to motion or a person etc, being detected. I had high hopes for these cameras and this app considering they aren’t cheap cameras but everything down To the playback footage is low quality. Don’t expect anything more ### 3/5 — Provide a new update *2026-05-31, version 3.6.1.162* I got a new camera because my other one stopped working. I liked the Noorio and have the solar panel for it so I bought another one. This one takes ages to get a video in live time and the solar panel seems to not be connecting like the old one and I have to take the camera down to charge it. Likely going to return it since it’s not operating properly. When I try to replay some videos it says something about fault SD card storage but there is no SD card! Support is lacking too. I reached out for support and got a message back the next day. I replied immediately and no reply back to my comment. My Noorio loaded fast when I opened to view an event but now every time I go to view an event, it starts another event and is slow to open the event I’m trying to view. Also it tells me a coyote is a person. SO ANNOYING. I get you are trying to make money but slowing the original app down (which worked perfectly before last update) just so you can sell your monthly subscription makes this camera useless. I was going to buy a second camera but not now! And the problem isn’t my device. I have a new iPad and an old iPad and high speed internet! ### 3/5 — Ok camera *2026-02-03* Its not bad but it works. I’ve had it for over a year and i think it’s starting to give out. Every time I try to watch live it freezes and when I try to watch past videos it just loads and never actually plays.. maybe because of the cold weather it’s slowing down? Still the app is pretty slow but the camera records just fine I think the app is the main issue and not the actual camera .. ### 3/5 — Just Okay *2025-11-13, version 3.5.3.157* Honestly, I wish I had gotten Eufy. Noorio has been so buggy. Cameras constantly go offline, including when an update is needed. One of our cameras has a different 12 digit code than the one that’s printed on the back. But,the Noorio Company has decided now that we can't view our cameras now without having to close their intrusive pop up window advertising something I don't need and would never buy. It's irritating and wastes precious seconds if a real security problem were to happen. The video is clear w/motion sensor & night vision. The app works when you miles away from home. Though many features are not available. Since early May, twice now, I have had several problems - updating to the latest firmware, can’t logout of the app, reboot the hub, sync the cameras, also can’t reset my password when accessing thru the Noorio web site either. Seems like the system has quite a few bugs. Also cameras must be mounted out of doors - will not detect if set behind glass, which I read on-line but that was after I purchased. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Video Playback Issues & Customer Support Issues *2026-07-29* These cameras, the customer service, and everything at the very beginning was great. However, it’s been several years and there are so many flaws. There are no app updates and no individual camera firmware update updates needed, and the video will not play back 99% of the time these cameras are pretty much rendered useless. I have reported these issues several times over the past years and even recently by pressing the report button and nothing gets fixed. I feel like I wasted all of my money and time. Customer service doesn’t seem to care at all and we have been ignored for years. ### 1/5 — Terrible connection *2026-06-05, version 3.6.1.162* Camera doesn’t load in app anymore just keeps saying refresh, we’ve set it up multiple times before where it worked but now it only loads when it feels like it very annoying when checking to see if pets are okay when getting the notification and nothing loads. Often puts itself info disabled mode so now I have to have all modes the same. ### 1/5 — Insane amount of notifications *2026-02-21, version 3.6.1.162* I have a solar camera and there is no way to turn off “battery fully charged” notification. I’ve tried everything. From do not disturb, to completely turning off notifications. You guys are putting ads in the dashboard now? Why the heck would you do this. Honestly it’s disruptive to the UI and UX. It no longer does. I uninstalled the app, reset the credentials,reset Alexa devices to no avail. I have 4 Noorio cameras and their doorbell for over a year. Work good and it does what it need to be done. Something I don’t why a lot people think they can have a FBI OR CIA camera for what I use and what it need to be done this surveillance camera is good and high performance. I see how maintenance and office members perform their duty at my house while I’m away from home. Everything happening in my house I have proof. I don’t know nobody view and perspective about this but for me it does is work above and more. Great surveillance camera.
