We want learning to be accessible to everyone, so if cost is a concern please email me at trent@noraeapp.com and i’ll get you free access ❤️ -Trent ### 1/5 — cost *2026-09-23* 7day free trial but you have to commit to even use the app **Developer response:** Hi kangio cvv, thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify, the 7-day free trial doesn't lock you in. You can cancel anytime during the trial from your Apple ID subscription settings, you won't be charged, and you'll keep full access until the trial ends. If you'd rather try Norae without signing up for the trial at all, email me at trent@noraeapp.com and I'll get you set up. Hope you give it a try! ### 1/5 — Free trial isn’t actually free *2026-09-18* I selected the free 7 day trial and it still charged me 🙃 **Developer response:** Hi Meep_Meep_99, thank you for flagging this, and we're sorry for the confusion. The 7-day free trial is currently only offered with the annual plan, and the monthly plan you selected begins billing right away. That clearly wasn't obvious enough, and that's on us. Please email us at support@noraeapp.com and we'll refund your charge and set you up with a proper free trial. We appreciate you giving Norae a try and want to make this right. --- EDIT: We've updated the app to make the trial terms clearer on the plan selection screen. Thanks again for flagging this! ### 2/5 — Plan?? *2026-09-26* Should be free just like every other social media AND language learning app. Would make the experience more enjoyable and restful for everyone trying to learn Korean.. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for being honest about this. You can try Norae free for 7 days, and if you cancel before the trial ends you won't be charged. After the trial it's a subscription because the app has no ads and doesn't sell your data. That money pays for the videos, captions and word explanations, and for me to keep building it. If 7 days isn't enough to decide, email trent@noraeapp.com and I'll send you a free month. Either way, thanks for giving it a go. ### 5/5 — Responsive developer *2026-09-27* There was a mixup with the subscriptions but the developer reached out to me right away. Thank you! **Developer response:** Hi Meep_Meep_99, thank you for flagging this, and we're sorry for the confusion. Thanks again for flagging this! ### 5/5 — Low effort learning *2026-09-26* Other apps had me learn grammar tables and my motivation faded quickly. Norae keeps me engaged with Authentic content so my Korean improved naturally without effort. Check it out! **Developer response:** Hi Mara_Brrr, thank you! Grammar tables killed my motivation too, which is a big part of why Norae is built around real content. So glad it's working for you. If there's anything you'd like added or improved, I'd love to hear it at trent@noraeapp.com ### 5/5 — Super helpful for learning real conversations *2026-09-20* This app has helped me learn so much Korean in such a short amount of time. I was recently listening to a conversation when I was at a park with my Korean speaking friend’s family, I understood the story almost fully, and I was surprised with myself. I HIGHLY recommend **Developer response:** Hi rb_2007, this made my day! Understanding a real conversation at the park is exactly what Norae is for, and it's awesome that you surprised yourself. Thank you for sharing it. If there's anything you'd like added or improved, I'd love to hear it at trent@noraeapp.com ### 5/5 — Entertaining *2026-09-20* Such a fun way to learn Korean. I’d recommend it **Developer response:** Hi Mom23beauts, thank you! Keeping learning fun is a big goal for us, so that means a lot. If there's anything you'd like added or improved, I'd love to hear it at trent@noraeapp.com ### 5/5 — Most immersive Korean learning app *2026-09-12* I've been learning Korean and tried many different methods and apps, and Norae is by far the most immersive and unique. No other app I've used allows you to watch TikTok style videos while also immersing you in the culture! 10/10 recommend! --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
