Opens. Shows how to connect, then crashes. I’ve reloaded the app. Signed in again multiple times. I finally was able to connect with my old android bit the outlets refuse to work with the timer. I’ve reset them. Redone everything. They still will not work. However after taking hours to set it up, it still worked, albeit with some flaws. I recently got a new phone and downloaded the app again to reconnect it to the outlet. This time, it refused to detect the device at all, even though I followed the proper instructions to reconnect and had the blue flashing light for pairing mode. Could not find help or get help on how to reconnect my outlet with my app. A waste of time and money, would not recommend buying the outlet product nor downloading the app. ### 1/5 — Schedule Does NOT work *2018-03-03, version 1.3* The ONLY way to turn On/Off the outlet is to open the app and flick the switch. The directions didn’t provide places/links for you to stop at a part to complete the task and then move on to the next step. It wants you to remember all the steps and then go complete them. While I was reading the directions by accident I pressed the done button and wasn’t able to bring back the instructions. That is a feature I didn’t enjoy. I went to the website to find a tutorial or just the directions and it said to refer to the set up on my phone. Not very helpful. Once I figured it all out the device was connected! Here is why I gave this app only two stars (I maybe too generous). There is a bug with the app that when it is opened it says that the device is already turned on. I have a light plugged into the device and therefore know that it isn’t on. The big issue with this is that the timer function won’t work then. It is tricked into thinking the device is already turned on. What is the point of having a Wi-Fi outlet when you always have to log into your phone to turn on the light. It would be faster for me to walk across the room in the dark and plug it in. I really hope they fix these issues soon.
