I’m about to delete this app because it’s annoying. ### 2/5 — Running a 24/7 business without 24/7 support *2025-10-06* The platform is user friendly but on three occasions they have denied me access to MY money. First time they they didn’t like my virtual address that my company is registered too. I gave my personal address to ship the card but being a truck driver I would never have an actual office. Second time the app said too many wrong password attempts when I was LITERALLY using my same password and it locked me out. Third time I never got paid on Friday when I get paid EVERY Friday. Other coworkers got paid and I work the largest reefer division in the United States so it wasn’t them. I waited ALL weekend without being paid because they only have customer support M-F. When they finally opened they still had no idea what was going on. Even with the trace ID they still couldn’t get it together. Im a new business so my funds aren’t that deep. I needed to make a rather large purchase and now dont have all the funds to do it and missed out on a deal. I will no longer use North One ### 2/5 — Login doesn’t work half the time *2025-07-11, version 15.13.0* Really need to fix login. Even with Face ID it sometimes asks for password then says there is an error. I feel like having a seamless login should be the absolute highest priority Every other banking app like SoFi etc have perfect login UX ### 2/5 — NO PHONE SUPPORT *2025-07-02, version 15.12.0* I have been locked out of my account for ‘security reasons’ with no way to login to contact support. I drive all over the U.S as a truck driver which I selected as my profession so of course my card is going to be used in several states. I can neither use my card or have app access. This is a serious joke and EXTREMELY inconvenient ### 2/5 — Updates *2025-06-25, version 15.11.0* Every time I blink my eye I have to update this app! It’s a forced update that so if don’t I can’t use the app. It’s very inconsiderate of rather I have storage on my phone to keep doing this. Plus I can’t do anything online only though the app. I won’t be using this device much longer. ### 1/5 — Impossible to get Approved! *2024-08-06, version 14.4.0* Has anyone had an account with this place for more than 6 month? ### 2/5 — Very buggy & unreliable bank *2023-09-04, version 13.24.0* I have a business checking here.... no 24/7 live customer service... to get a call back takes up to 1-2 business days... no reliable way to create a chargeback nor call instantly to handle any bank or card issues.. northone has a long way to go as a bank. ### 1/5 — Horrible Bank *2023-08-01, version 13.24.0* This is the worst business bank account to have. Funds always going missing and disputes take an extremely long time to come to a conclusion. Also it’s very hard to get in contact with customer service. You have to schedule a call and most of the time they are booked ### 1/5 — Terrible! Doesn’t work. *2023-07-04, version 13.22.0* They charge you each month for a service that doesn’t even work. One week I can make a deposit, the next week I can’t. The customer service agent seems to think that it’s the customer problem, when it’s obviously an issue with their banking system. Everything with this bank is a hassle. They change features so much that you never know if a feature has been sunsetted, or if it’s still live. The customer service reps aren’t friendly. I seriously dislike this bank. What a nightmare! ### 1/5 — Inconvenience *2023-06-30, version 13.22.0* Closed my account less then two weeks upon opening for no reason which was a major inconvenience to my business. Unprofessionalism at it’s finest and only way to get in touch with customer service is through email which is frustrating. North-one Bank doesn’t care about their members. This was a terrible experience, hope you have better journey then me and my team good luck! ### 1/5 — It’s a No From Me *2023-06-10, version 13.21.0* $10/Month for the same service or less from other small business banks. Nah I’m good. Must have missed in the signup process, shame on me. But literally set the account up and the initial $50 deposit just cleared and they already charged a months fee when the services haven’t been used. Lesson learned. Also it’s a lie that the customer care team is available every day; it’s only week days. ### 1/5 — Get this if you like LIES *2023-02-11, version 13.16.0* I have never been lied to as much as this so called ‘bank’ has. Worked fine depositing business checks, until it stopped one day. I had over 15k in checks to deposit, and I was working out of town! They strung me along for 3 months, telling me sometime this week, knowing they would never have that service ever again. It's backed by a bank, but the magic is that it has the practices from the book, Profit First, built into the app. You can use it to manage your business revenue the way the book teaches it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible Fake Bank *2025-10-08, version 15.19.0* Don’t bank with them. Check on Better Business bureau… They have horrible reviews. I would not ever allow my account to go over 1k without ach transfer because I Didn’t trust them. Simple because he app always had issues. Then to learn they will just take your money and close your account the 1st time you have a complaint. It’s horrible! I’m just happy they were only allowed to take $153 usd from me. They are scammers and I’m not sure how they are allowed to do this in this country. I should alert the Trump administration of the scam group! ### 1/5 — Tech issues *2025-07-23, version 15.13.2* Think twice do not have a phone number when a tech issues happens like not being able to log in to your account there is no one to reach out to except an AI ### 1/5 — No human customer service *2025-07-04, version 15.12.0* You have to rely on email to reach anyone and will not get a call. They have 1 phone number listed but it rings to a vm that tells you to email them. I can’t understand how a bank could operate like that our leave you locked out of an account for Days without response. I can’t get signed in online or in the app. It’s been days trying to get this resolved and I still can’t get in my account. Someone needs to help me! Stay away. ### 1/5 — Thieves and Fraud *2024-09-23, version 14.7.0* I never write review's, especially horrible ones but this must be written. PLEASE DO NOT use this bank. I made 2 deposits of over 15,000.. only to have someone log into my account the same right at 2 am and send it all out via ach. I didn’t get an email notification or text. Luckily I stumbled and checked my account later that day. I reported the ach and debit card transactions to them a showed them screen shots and it was never done without my knowledge. They then froze my account. Dragged the situation out for 4 weeks to tell me the ruling was not in my favor. They also told my my account was shut down and closed for the nature of my business. What budiness? Why did you approve my application to tell me this ? Needless to say my 15000$ is gone. Please I don’t want this to happen to anyone else who works hard for their money and try to support a bank. Keep in mind I set the account up on my iPhone and never had anything compromised before. They are thieves. Please tag away. Peace of mind with consistently reliable support and great ease of use with their app! ### 5/5 — Very few issues in 3+ years *2025-08-06* I’ve had terrible results with a local bank (required two in person visits to a branch to set up online banking, charged fees every month, functionality/interface from 1996) and tried out NorthOne after seeing it recommended as Profit First friendly. My biggest complaint is I would have to visit a shady strip mall if I ever want to deposit cash. So, no, it’s not a bank.
